Great info. I’d just like to add that people should check where their vet’s emergency surgery is. – Where I live, most of the vets take part in a scheme where they farm out their emergency hours to a particular surgery in the next town. We didn’t like this idea, so sought a vet who dealt with their own emergencies. We ended up with a wonderful vet. ?
Ah most places in London team up and shift the emergency ones around.
