Cat Travel: Neko no Jikan Amemura – Osaka Cat Cafe Part 5

Hi everyone,

This is the fifth part in our Neko no Jikan Amemura series. For those that missed the others click on the respective post number for them: part 1part 2, part 3, part 4.

Today we are focussing on a very interesting cat that we spotted in the cafe first of all hiding away on one of the top shelves!

Have to admit I had to think of the Gremlins movie when I first spotted him. 😉

Just like the other cats he too LOVED this box, not surprisingly as we all know how much they love boxes. 😀

But do you see the black cat mother with her kitten logo? This is the logo for one of the main delivery services in Japan. 🙂

And he sure was adorable! We think that he was a Cornish Rex mix of some kind.

If you look closely at his fur you can see that he has got very short almost curly fur.

Whatever breed he may be… We really just wanted to stick him in our bag and take him home. Not sure how their Royal Meowjesties would have thought about that though!

Below you can see a map for directions to get to this Cafe. 🙂

More details can be found on their website here. (In Japanese)

We hope you enjoyed the second part of the Osaka cat Cafe – Neko no Jikan and are looking forward to more photos of the resident kitties. 😀

That cat is female. It has 3 colors, and those cats only come in female. It could be either a Cornish Rex or a Devon Rex. it has some fur, and is shaped like one. It may even have been cross-bred with a Sphinx cat, judging by the lack of fur on the front of its face. That’s my guess.

Cornish Rex cats have wavy or curly fur, and come in all colours, so could be a Cornish Rex. Whatever breed or part breed the kitty is, it’s gorgeous! 😀
