Mittens was adopted by Joe and I from Parkville Animal Shelter. She was found wandering around a lake totally dehydrated and almost gone.
We rescued her but she actually rescued us – she is our every day delight. She drinks her water out of a bowl like a raccoon scooping it up in her paws.
She has a bench by a window that she watches the birds daily. We of course keep a bird feeder there.
She is polydactyl- Ernest Hemingway kitties One extra toe on her front paws – therefore the name Mittens.
