Christmas is coming, and what better gift for your cat-loving friends (and yourself) than a beautiful cat calendar? If you choose this one, you’ll be directly supporting the work of Street Cats of Vis, a small, volunteer-run project on the island of Vis, in Croatia.
Street Cats of Vis works year-round to help people help cats. Volunteers trap street cats for sterilization, monitor and feed several colonies, foster kittens in preparation for adoption, and find homes for socialized kittens and cats once they’re ready.
The 2022 calendar is A4 format, vertical, with a black spiral binding along the top. Calendars cost 90 kunas each, which is a hair over ten pounds, plus postage. All proceeds go towards helping the street cats of Vis.
To reserve your calendar(s), please fill out this order form: https://tinyurl.com/kalendar2022. No payment is necessary until calendars are ready to be posted at which point the charity will contact you directly, which should be the last week in November.
If you’d like to see each calendar page in more detail, you can do so in their Facebook group here.
About the Charity:
Street Cats of Vis was founded in June 2018 by designer / illustrator Little Shiva; she was joined by Francesca Walker in August 2019. Francesca works for the SPCA NZ and has volunteered for their National Rescue Unit, which specializes in technical animal rescue (dogs off cliffs, large animals, animals trapped in dangerous confined spaces). We’re grateful for all the people who have contributed to caring for the street cats of Vis and look forward to meeting others who are passionate and want to get involved.
Thank you !
