Rebecca Lodder, Battersea Rehoming and Welfare Manager says: “We take in thousands of animals every year, and we definitely notice certain trends with pet names. At the moment the most popular names are very traditional and tend to be just two syllables, making it easy to call them to us for a fuss!”
“Regardless of the names of our dogs and cats, whether they be traditional or a one-off, each and every rescue animal has their own unique personality, which we celebrate here at Battersea.”
Battersea has been here for every dog and cat for 160 years.. Like many charities, Battersea has seen a significant drop in income as a direct impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Now more than ever, we need your support.
