Battersea cares for abandoned kittens this Mother’s Day

In what are seemingly uncertain times for many, Battersea is continuing to provide unconditional care for some of the nation’s most vulnerable dogs and cats. The dedication of Battersea staff and volunteers ensures tiny kittens that have been separated from their own mums, such as Toby (pictured), will continue to receive the vital help they need to thrive this Mother’s Day and all year round.

Battersea appreciates that there are many people willing to temporarily foster our animals and we thank them for their generosity. However, we are fortunate to have an existing network of over 1,000 volunteers and foster carers to call upon and we have now suspended new applications to foster while we prioritise working with existing staff and volunteers to provide ongoing care for our dogs and cats during the Covid-19 outbreak.

The best way people can support Battersea currently is by making a donation to help us continue to be here for every dog and cat. For more information or to support Battersea with a donation, please visit www.donate.battersea.org.uk.
