Hi everyone,
Today’s guest story comes from Rosemary V. and is about her adorable little cat Purrlita Katniss:
Purrlita Katniss is almost five years old. I fostered her litter intending to keep her and one of her brothers. Originally she was to be named PK for Phyllis Killer. I changed her name to Purrlitta Katniss after I found she did not have the killer instinct. I didn’t get to adopt her brother as he had already been spoken for. She is very shy and retiring.
I already had two other cats, Lizzie (humane society), and Cabrita, (rescued from a wall and who died in an accident) in 2013. Cabrita was dominant from the beginning and all got along. She was named Cabrita from her early diet of goats milk. All of my pets drink goats milk. Upon Cabrita’s death, Lizzie became dominant and bullies PK.
PK likes to loll in the sun always with one eye open to escape the wrath of the not so divine Miss Lizzie. She adores wet food and is very loving when she is hungry. I might add she is not so loving when not hungry and has been known to scratch furniture when she is not fed food she prefers. She shares her spotted tummy freely when she feels safe.
Have you got a story of your own to share? Send us an email!
Thanks,
Marc
