Hi everyone,
Please find below the latest entry in Purrsday Poetry by Bonnie Feingold.
A Perch for Penelope
Penelope’s looking to hide
To be nestled and settled inside.
She opts for a dark, snuggly place
Where all we can see is her face.
A left-open drawer is the stair
That helps her leap into her lair
Where everything happening here
And everyone whom she holds dear
She observes from her perch on the shelf
While snoozing or cleaning herself.
Penelope’s inside the chest,
A roost that she seems to love best.
But take this advice as a guide:
Be sure not to lock her inside!
