So last night we decided to give Hong Kong’s local cat cafe a go.
It was a very pleasant surprise once we managed to locate it 😉 It was hidden on the third floor in what seemed at first like a residential block.
When you first arrive you have to fill out a small form to sign up as a member. this is free of charge and you will get a cute membership card:
Here are some pictures of the resident cats:
All of them were very friendly while surprisingly not going for people’s food. Though the tiny black one certainly likes the smell of cooked chicken.
We ordered 2 drinks and some cookies which came to just about £10 but was very nice and worth every penny:
They also had loads of other cat themed sweets and gifts for sale in the shop:
If you are in Hong Kong and either miss your own cats (like us) or are looking for a true cat cafe experience this place is certainly what you are looking for.
You can find he Ah Meow cat cafe at: Cat Store ???? – 3/F, Po Ming Bldg, 2-6 Foo Ming St, Causeway Bay about 10 minutes walk from the Times Square MTR exit.
Reblogged this on rattiesforeverworldpresscom.
The cats are so adorable (and the food looks yummy too!). I’ll be going to Hong Kong this month and I really hope I’ll be able to find and visit this place. c:
It was awesome! You should be able to find it on google maps 🙂
