TICA Felinology’s Fifth Annual Cat Show Returns This November 5-6!

Event Presents Opportunity to have Your Cats Judged by TICA President Vicki Jo Harriosn

Mark your calendars for Felinology’s Fifth Annual cat show this November 5-6, 2022. The event, titled “Gunpowder, Treason, and Plot, will feature a two-day, back-to-back format will take place at Newbury’s Northcroft Leisure Centre, Northcroft Lane, Newbury, Berkshire and feature 12 rings with eight AB and 4 SP rings. The show will be open to the public from 10:00 am – 5 pm.

The show will present exhibitors the opportunity to have their cat judged by The International Cat Association (TICA) President Vicki Jo Harrison (AB). Other judges will include Toni Jones, USA (AB); Jo Phillipa Holmes, UK (AB); Jane Allen, UK (AB); Brenda Russo, USA (AB); and Alex Marinets Canada (SP).

A special one-hour Meet & Greet reception with TICA President Vicki Jo Harrison and show judges will take place November 5, 2022, at the Donnington Grove Hotel from 7:30PM.

The show, under the management team of Joanna Bell, Emily Bell, and Sue Cummins,  will be licensed and scored by TICA and is subject to show rules and breed standards. This event is scored for TICA Regional and International awards. Kittens three months of age or younger will be permitted in the show hall. Proof of age, TICA litter registration, and vaccination cards are required. Exhibitors are permitted to bring their own cage and supplies for each cat entered.

Except for cats competing in the Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes, registration with TICA is not required to compete, but are required to be scored for TICA titles and Regional/International awards. All cats, except HHP kittens, must be registered by their second show. Effective May 1, 2019, owners of unregistered cats, kittens and alters must prove eligibility to be registered. Acceptable documentation includes TICA litter registrations, pedigrees, or registration documents from another organization. Copies of this documentation MUST be entered on Toes. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the entry clerk.

Registration will take place until October 28, 2022. A tardy turtle of £10 per entry after this date, unless a prior agreement has been made with the Show Management. Pricing and registration information can be found.

Members of the public are welcome to join the event to meet many cats and be able to purchase fabulous products from stalls such as Katzenworld.

Entry times are from 10am-5pm on both Saturday and Sunday’
