Hi everyone,
Today’s entry in Purrsday Poetry comes from Eclectic Assemblage:
Don’t know what happened before you came to me
Something bad, to make you so afraid
I know it didn’t break you,
It made you fight.
You saw me as a bigger cat
Someone you could fight and rule
Razor claws have left their mark
Many scars mementoes of our fights
So I had to be a bigger cat
Face you down the way a cat would
Hiss and growl until you backed off
And love you once you would let me
Don’t lose your attitude, Rameses
A Pharoah is a warlord, after all
Keep your pride, only remember
You are safe here

Thanks,
Marc
