Hi everyone,
It’s me Rennie here today in time for my monthly “manicure”! And today it’s me who gets to trial the ZenClipper that our humans wrote about a while back.
Rennie: I have to say just like Oliver I don’t normally like the monthly clipping of my nails… I am always worried that the humans will hit my quick when I wriggle!
Freya: Now if you didn’t wriggle…
Rennie: Oi! Sister! It’s stressful so of course, I’ll wriggle with a regular clipper…
Rennie: Anyhow… thanks to the circular blade that can’t go to far on my nails I feel safe enough to take a nap while my humans use the ZenClipper. 😀
Rennie: Look very closely at the clipper fellow felines! As long as your humans get the right size there is simply no way for your servant to accidentally cut your quick! How do you make sure you get the right size? Well, get your humans to print off a size guide and compare it to your nails. 😀
But why should your human trim your nails? Well if you are an outdoor cat there is probably no need as you’ll be using your claws on trees, fences etc but for us indoor cats it can often happen that our claws grow so long that they start being painful and possibly even push into our sensitive pads! And in some cases it can even lead to an overgrown nail!
And an overgrown nail is no fun whatsoever… it’ll be painful to retract it as our skin gets caught on the thickened sheat. 🙁 Hence regular trimming for us indoor cats can be a necessity.
Rennie: Of course I still have to supervise my human to make sure he is doing things alright but as you can see there are no problems in training my particular human in the use of this tool. 😀
So how does ZenClipper work?
ZenClipper a revolutionary new pet nail clipper that is designed to clip just the tip of the nail. Zen Clipper has a patent-pending conical blade that only allows the tip of the pet’s nail into the cutting area, it’s like putting the tip of the nail into a small funnel. You clip just the tip and avoid the quick. Originally invented for cats, Zen Clipper can also be used on dogs, birds, reptiles and small animals like ferrets and rabbits.
So send your own human over to our shop to order one of the clippers. Most cats will either need the purple or the yellow size but it’s good to check with the size guide as there is a possibility you might need two different sizes for the front and back claws.
Signed by,
His Meowjesty King Renegade the Flash
Always great to see your marvellous feline characters just being themselves.
🙂
I’m impressed that it only takes one of you to clip His Meowjesty King Renegade the Flash nails! Chris has to hold Merlin as I clip his nails MEOW, GRR! Rhiannon is a little easier, but it’s quicker having Chris hold her. A treat after the nail clipping session always eases their horrendous experience and all is forgiven 🙂
Have to say the clippers made a big difference on the requirement of two humans. even calm mr Rennie normally runs off. ?
Wow, Renegade is so good with nail clipping. It’s a two person job with my cats.
It normally is a two person job for us too. And in the case of Oliver a trip to the vet. But these clippers have been a life saver on both fronts. ?
Renegade is a sweetheart.
🙂
Renegade looks so very satisfied, Marc 🙂
It seems to be a good clipper.
It certainly is. We didn’t believe the guys behind the clipper until we got one to try. 😉
