The Friday Art Cat: “Watercolour Maine Coon”

Watercolour Maine Coon

“Watercolour Maine Coon” I spotted this gorgeous cat’s photo on a Facebook group, and made a watercolour in homage to it. It surely validates the idea that a Maine Coon is mostly tail ?!

Let me know what you think

I love the perspective from the tail! I also love your brushwork. With watercolors, I find it very difficult to regulate the amount of paint in the brush. My sketches from watercolor class are either blotchy from too much water or “inky” from too much paint. Yours has such perfect flow!
