A Fabulously fun Feline weekend at the UK CFA show

Hi everyone,

Earlier this year we attended the CFA show in Stansted Mountfitchet while this was one of the smaller shows we attended we had a lot of fun meeting new people and also some old friends!

The judging of the cats was very similar to what we’ve experienced previously at TICA shows where as people come to rings with their cats and place the cats either in a holding pen or directly on the table of the judge. We like the fact that both associations allow people to hold their feline friend until the time of the judging instead of having a mandatory placement of the cat into the holding pen.

Even with it being a smaller show there were still plenty of different breeds for people to meet! And you can see how much fun the judges had meeting all the different cats. 🙂

One of our personal favorites was this one! There was just something about the face of this cat and how the eyes looked at us and the other spectators.

And of course we weren’t the only people with a stall at the event! We got to meet up with some of our friends from previous shows such as Bobbleicious Boutique and their amazing cat wands! If you’ve not bought one of their toys yet you really should as they are stunning. 😀

Next to our own stand we also had an interesting breed of cats the Kurilian Bobtail. We will have to try and get some photos of actually showing their tails as that’s the special feature but these two shots were simply too cute not to share!

And at last our own stall featuring a number of favourite products from our online shop such as the cat night lights and 4cats premium toys! 🙂

You may have also noticed that we’ve got a new banner! Yes that’s right we got it done by a company called signomatic.co.uk.

For the new banner we used the amazingly cute cartoon artwork by our Italian friends Furiarossa and Mimma in charge of the cartoons of our three mischievous siblings. This particular cartoon was commissioned by 4cats to be used as a banner for the big pet trade fair in Nuremberg this year and as it really celebrates the fact that their toys are German we thought this would be the best banner to take along in addition to our own one.. And we do think that the roll-up banner from signomatic worked out really well on this one! 😀

We hope you enjoyed the sneak peak at the CFA show and we hope to see some of you at one of our future show stalls!

Thanks,

Marc

I looked at the artwork and thought, ok, number two is the Brandenburger Tor, but what about the upper and the lower destinations, then the castle, so fanciful, reminded me of the one in Chitty, Chitty Bang, Bang – which was Neuschwanstein. Then I saw you concentrated on German destinations so the last has to be the Cologne Cathedral, for sure?

You are right on all three 🙂

We’ve done a few country banners but we use the German one in the UK to point out that all the toys are made in Germany. ?

So far we got France, Italy, London and Germany. Will see if we can do a post just about the art.

Looks a very interesting show. I looked up the Kurilian Hotmail as I thought they looked delightful. Wow what an amazing cat loves water ,very active really solid ,strong bone structure.I have never heard of them before. I just love your stall and your banner is excellent. Maybe one day I will manage…x?????

      Aww thank you. 🙂

We are currently considering to book a stall at the Manchester family pet show which would be a “little closer” to you. There just doesn’t seem to be anything up beyond Manchester this year… there was meant to be a Scottish pet show but it seems to have fallen through. :/
