Hi everyone,
We are back for the 15th installment of The amazing adventures of Oliver & Nubia! Well as of this strip it’s actually the Adventures of Oliver, Nubia & Renegade. : )
Previous post on Renegade’s arrival:
As most of you probably know we adopted little Rennie last year and he has nicely settled in with Oliver & Nubia. This cartoon is all about the interactions when he first arrived.
Want to read more about Renegade’s arrival? Check out this post:
Thanks,

You fared far better with your new kitty than I did. OBCC hissed at the Tiny Terror for months. And he refused to acknowledge the human who “betrayed” him (aka, me) by bringing a cat into his territory (aka, my bedroom). His personality changed from a sweet kitty who loved sleeping next to me at his special spot on my desk, to scratching at me and threatening to bite if I touched him. He’s starting to become more like his former self, but still has trust issues. The strange thing is — we didn’t choose to get another kitty. He showed up at our doorstep as a 6 week old kitten scrawny and starving. We can’t turn our back on a little creature who is asking for help.
I hope he will in the end realise that life is better with another cat companion. 🙁
I think part of the reason we were so lucky is that orientals don’t demonstrate the territorial behaviour of other cats. They are more like dogs and love living in packs and cuddling up together. So Oliver and Nubia were given no choice as their initial hissing at him simply resulted in more head-buts and cuddle attempts. ?
