Hi everyone,
Today’s Purrsday Poetry post comes from David Fox.
George
George was a very special cat
He’s greet you on the welcome mat
With a soft and gentle meow
yes, he was special and how,
His coat was black and white
He never did scratch or bite
He never howled, never hissed,
George, you are surely missed.
Sincerely,
David Fox

Very nice poem. George was a handsome boy.
Thank you!
I like to imagine when they are gone we still have all the memories of how special they were to us, the bond and love we shared. And if they are gone, it leaves space for a new special fur-child to come in to bring a new personality. More love. More joy. New memories. I’m still not looking forward to the day Jamima Patch the pirate cat puddle duck, is no longer here.

This comment is so true. I remember our past cats and kittens and we are making more joy with the one we have now. Cats are a true blessing.
A very touching poem. Picture was nice too.
Thank you
