Join Community Cats Podcast on Saturday, April 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (EST) for an Online Behavior Day featuring Pam Johnson-Bennett, renowned certified cat behaviorist and best-selling author, Dr. Rachel Geller, certified cat behavior and retention specialist and Board Executive Director of The Cat Connection, Tabitha Kucera, CCBC, KPA-CTP, and Fear Free- and Low-Stress Handling-Certified Registered Veterinary Technician, and Arden Moore, cat behavior consultant, master pet first aid instructor, radio host, and author.
Johnson-Bennett is the best-selling author of ten books and starred in the Animal Planet UK series Psycho Kitty. She is one of the most popular and sought-after cat behavior experts in the world. She is considered a pioneer in the field of cat behavior consulting and has influenced many practicing in the field today. She is a former vice president of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and founded the IAABC Cat Division where she served as its longtime chair for 8 years. She currently is a member of the Advisory Board of Daily Paws.
Dr. Geller is a Certified Cat Behavior and Retention Specialist through the Humane Society of the United States. Based in the Boston area, she advises cat owners throughout the country on how to resolve their feline’s behavioral and emotional problems.
Kucera has more than 10 years of experience working at several small animal veterinary hospitals, farm sanctuaries, and various cat and dog rescues over the years, fulfilling many roles, including veterinary technician, trainer, behavior consultant, and more. She currently owns dog and cat behavior consulting and training businesses.
Moore does many things in the pet world: she’s an editor, author, professional speaker, media consultant and behavior consultant. She travels throughout North America to help the public better understand pet behavior through appearances on national shows, including CNN, Fox, and NBC’s Today show. She is a certified pet first aid, CPR and safety instructor with Pet Tech, a leader in hands-on training and pet wellness classes. She also hosts the popular “Oh Behave!” show on Pet Life Radio.
The day will feature a variety of workshops on common cat behavior issues and concerns. Early- bird registration is $20 if you sign up by March 31. Regular registration is $25 after that.
