DragCon Meets CatCon at LondonCats “Cat Extravaganza”in Maidstone this April
Join us and fellow cat lovers in Maidstone this April for the next installment of LondonCats’ Cat Extravaganza! The event will give visitors the opportunity to get close up with over 100 cats from 50 different breeds in addition to various talks and interactive sessions in our Kitty Corner.
The LondonCats Cat Extravaganza is back with it’s International Show and all things Feline Exposition this time at Maidstone, Surrey from the 18th – 19th of April!
Following the huge success of the organisation’s events around the UK in 2019, the team has decided to once again take the show around different parts of the UK.
The event is associated with TICA (The International Cat Association), which sanctions hundreds of cat shows annually across the globe and in 104 countries.
TICA currently recognizes 71 breeds of cats and is the largest registry of pedigree and household pet cats in the world.
Amongst the various different breeds at our cat show, there will be some of your favourites such as the Bengal, British Short Hair, Maine Coon and Sphynx.
There will also be some newer breeds like the Lykoi (werewolf cat), American Curl, Toyger and many more, all under one roof competing for the ultimate prize of Best Kitten, Best Cat, Best Alter and Best Household Pet.
This will make a purr-fect event for the whole family in a convenient location near the main shopping area of Maidstone! Visitors will have plenty of opportunities to pet and cuddle these furry friends and will be able to learn more about our intelligent companion animals and what makes cat’s such amazing animals by observing one of the six judging rings.
Visit the Kitty Corner to listen to fun facts about breeds, top tips and more!
And as a very special guest star LondonCats will have RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star SCAREDY KAT!
Scaredy Kat will be hosting and judging an exhibitor-fancy dress and cat-fancy dress “fun ring” on both Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th April. Come and find out what our exhibitors get up to and join the fun in your own fancy dress outfit!

Vendors will include brands such Bengal Cat World, Katzenworld, Innabox, Pets & Pods Studio and many more.
Whether you are looking for the latest and best food & treats or the most innovative & hi-tech gadgets, you will be sure to leave happy with a little something for your “friends” at home.
You will also have the opportunity to meet Instagram celebrity cats such as Starina who will be waiting for cuddles on the Katzenworld stall on Saturday.

LondonCats would also like to thank the events sponsor Dr. Elsey’s manufacturer of cat food and cat litter.
“Enhancing the lives of pets to the degree in which they enrich ours is the ultimate pursuit. At Dr. Elsey’s, we put heart, soul and science into our products—it’s all about pets, not profit. Every problem calls for a solution—whether it’s bringing a fussy feline back to the box, keeping paws clean and free of dust, or fueling the ancestral dietary needs of our beloved pets. Dr. Elsey’s is dedicated to creating products that solve the complex needs of pet owners.”
Sorry, but I cannot see that happening in May. That would be only two months away.
