I always find those subscription pop-ups annoying. They pop up just when I’m trying to do something (like write a reply). I try to find the place to close them and because I’m crosseyed, I usually miss. 🙂
Ah! I didn’t think of that. Maybe I shouldn’t have it on after all =o
It should only pop up once every 30 days tho if you keep cookies on your PC!
I erase them frequently, as I don’t like seeing ads for the websites I’ve visited staring me in the face. It’s a bit creepy.

Argh. Don’t want to penalise people like yourself. Let’s see if it achieves what I’m trying to do. Otherwise it’s going of again 🙂

Let’s see how it goes! I suppose there is bound to be a few hick ups. On a positive note though I’ve got a lot of none WordPress users subscribe to it already. 🙂
I still feel bad to make it more difficult for you and the other person though! I’ve added a big X at the beginning of the text and changed it to dark red to be easier to see. Hope that helps!

If I’m in the minority, you have to do what is best for you to gather subscribers.
Let me know though if it’s easier to spot now next time it pops up for you. I want to make it as painless as possible. 🙂

I”m not real fond of it but it wasn’t so obtrusive that it pissed me off. Just don’t want to actually be part of a newsletter…haven’t even thought about why. I’d say leave it on, some followers might not have really thought about…well like me for instance. ~~dru~~
