CATB: The Tasting

Hi everyone,

We are back for another round of blasts from the past from our cat friends from Cats at the Bar! 🙂

Vanilla & sea salt ice cream. Made by my daughter. If Bean likes it we would try it….she did!

She has a terrible sense of what in fact tastes good.

  1. Had some friends round, ordered in some pizzas and stuff. I got some plates, friends said ‘there’s one too many’, ‘ wait and see, ‘ I replied. Door bell rang, MM came thundering down stairs. Started opening the bags of chips, onion rings etc. MM trying to open pizza boxes! Rescue boxes from her, put her a bit of tuna and prawn pizza on the extra plate, taking care to remove any anchovy, add a couple of chips and you have one happy cat. Leaving us humans to eat undisturbed. She’d eat the prawn, tuna, tomato and cheese, off the pizza, sometimes some of the base, oh and her chips!
If there was a roast she liked a plate of meat, no gravy. Fish and chips, she’d like some fish and a chip. Chinese food she liked the chicken from inside a battered chicken ball and or a satay skewer but that needed the satay sauce cut off.
It was easier to give her a little plate of the food because she then concentrated on that rather than seeing what she could pinch.

  2. Not only has Ms. Purrseidon stolen human food, she mucked up our firsts Chewy test by stealing the sweet potato treats from Saphera… don’t know why those are only marketed to dogs. Once burned, twice cautious. In the 2nd test, she looked a tad damp … she may or may not have been distracted by playing in the tub, while Saphera did her test….
Er, if you don’t know Purrseidon, that might sound like water torture. Truth is she LOVES water.

  3. A story of a cat who loved ham. We had guests and I made ham sandwiches, put them on a table in the dining room. The guests were in the living room. I was in the kitchen and listened the little sound – namnammm-,the cat is eating, looked down to the cat’s plate. Oh no, no cat. I peeped to the dining room, the sandwiches were on the plate with tomato and cucumber slices, but three had no ham. The thief was on a chair eating ham. He had taken the slices with one nail so that tomato and cucumber slices had not moved. He was a very wise cat.

  4. GATO LINDO Y PRECIOSO!!!

  5. Aaaww!
Our kitty used to love Döner Kebab. Impossible to eat by yourself with the cat coming from everywhere to get hold of your dinner.
And on Sunday mornings she would sit on her own chair at the breakfast table waiting for some Leberwurst and butter to be served to her.
