Welcome to our Blog,
We are a group of friends that are united by our passion for (you guessed it right!) CATS!
Because we loved reading about cats on the internet we were really keen on putting together a portal not just for our own cats but also as a one stop source on all things cats for our friends and fellow cat lovers.
Our Bloggers & Cats:
Marc-Andre: He lives in London where he is owned by the mischievous cats Oliver, Nubia & Renegade (aka Oli, Pooh & Rennie).
Marc keeps the rest of the team organised and heading into one direction. When he is not working on the Blog Oliver will curl up next to him… Well sometimes he will curl up on the laptop anyway!
Oh and if you are looking for a photographer he is your man! ;D
His Meowjesty King Oliver may look peaceful on this photo but he is also known as the Maker of Mischief!
Iain: He is the other human owned by the mischievous trio Oliver, Nubia & Renegade!
Her Meowjesty Queen Nubia (aka Nubzilla) the Disturber of Peace is known for her noisy roars and stomping as she hobbles through the living room! She may only have three legs but she has the heart of a lion and will not waiver to get what she wants!
Iain does a lot of the editing of our Guest Posts He is the main person in charge of techy product reviews! He loves vacuum cleaners!!
Native Oregonian Mollie Hunt has always had an affinity for cats, so it was a short step for her to become a cat writer. Mollie is the author of the Crazy Cat Lady cozy mystery series, including Cats’ Eyes, Copy Cats, Cat’s Paw, and Cat Call (coming in October 2017). The series features Lynley Cannon, a sixty-something cat shelter volunteer who finds more trouble than a cat in a catnip patch. Mollie is a member of the Oregon Writers’ Colony, Sisters in Crime, and the Cat Writers’ Association. This year she won a CWA Muse Medallion for her 3-part blogpost series, Life Stages. Mollie lives in Portland’s eclectic Hawthorne district with her husband and a varying number of cats. Like her character, Lynley Cannon, she is a grateful shelter volunteer.

I wish i could show off my cat, Petro, but he died 4 years ago. I still miss him. He has a special place in my heart, and there can be no other to replace him. You see, Petro chose me as his companion and we had had a tight bond from the very beginning. I never could bring myself to replace him, and in fact never did find a ‘soul mate’ in all other cats after Petro. Strange, I know, but true.
Ah what am I doing?! I’m rambling like an old granny here when I’m supposed to thank you for the follow, Marc-André! Glad you found me coz now I can have my share of more cat photos! I am definitely following you 🙂
Thank you so much for following us. And sorry to hear about Petro :(. Not sure what i would do if something was to happen to oli. He chose me the second we met in the charity by putting his paw on me and purring away.
Thanks so much for visiting and following my blog! appreciate it very much. 🙂

A Big Sunny Hello from Arizona, USA!
I’m just LOVING all your Pic’s of cats. Yes, my hubby and I have 4 cats. Two are with my best friend on her ranch in So. Oregon, as we had to move to Arizona for a year so my husband can go through meat-cutters school/training. Mr. Buttons & Ms. Calie….
Now, we just adopted 2 four month old kittens from a rescue shelter, and they will go back to Oregon with us. They are a HOOT! This is the 1st time we have had 2 kittens at once. Mr. Boots & Ms. Prissy Princess. She has an attitude, so I had to add Prissy to her name!….LOL.
Cats just bring so much joy to a home don’t they!
Thanks for coming by my blog. I do often do a *Happy Caturday* blog post on the weekends, They sure get a lot of visits when I do. Glad I came by!! I’m a New Fan…

Hi there, Marc-André! Thank you for visiting and following HoB. Much appreciated!
Thank you for doing the same for us 🙂
When you eventually take the world under your ruling (an I’m sure it will happen), will your Katz leaders be merciful to dog people?
Of course we will ^^ in fact we have one dog post under guest stars haha 🙂
😀 Um, okay then. I’m reassured ^^
Just be warned. King Oli sees everyone as his servants no matter what race 😉
Oh, I never meant to question King’s Oli supremacy 😉 Hail The Emperor! 😀
😀
Thank you for the visits and follow 🙂
You are welcome and thank you for doing the same for us 🙂
You are 🙂 welcome too
Owww…cat…I love it
Thank you 😀
Much thanks for following First Night Design!
You are welcome! And thanks for doing the same for us 🙂
Thank you for following my blog. I see you don’t have a tortie? Would you like mine? She’s mostly a complete pain, poking her little nose into everything and leaving lots of bits of mouse body parts everywhere. My humans had never had a tortie – mum always had black cats and then inherited 3 persians, which weren’t like proper cats at all… then they got me and then they rescued Pickle, or perhaps more correctly, rescued Pickle’s 80 year old owner who couldn’t cope with her. Nobody told us about torties… they should come with a health warning.
LOL! Yeah naughty tortie’s can be a pain xD. My friend has one and she may look cute and innocent but well you know the rest of the story xD. I’d love another cat but I think Mr Oli and Ms Nubes may get jealous ;). Happy to feature your kitties as our guest stars on the blog btw 🙂
How wonderful – I look forward to reading the blog! We have no self control when it comes to cats – we have 7 – mainly rescues – all unique characters.
Thank you for following us :). And cats are rescue once too ^^ if you need anything reblogged about yours let us know! 😀
Thank you for visiting me, Millie and Pearl – I love it when cat people follow our dog blog. I am trying to convince Millie and Pearl that all animals are equal – and equally lovable – but sometimes it’s an uphill struggle!
Hehe. I know what you mean ^^. We even had a guest puppy on our blog a while ago 😀
Wow. A whole blog about cats! Now that’s an awesome approach! Popped over to thank you for the follow on my own blog and got caught up perusing all these lovely pix and stories (love how they’re told from the perspective of the cats!) Excellent! You’ve got another fan in me!
Thank you so much for coming over to ours :). And if you fancy a reblog of any cat related stories let us know ^^
Hi Marc, sorry to bug you but I am dog and cat and animal crazy. On Facebook I daily a publish pic of our dogs and the masters of the house – yes, the cats – Facebook link is Hermann Hanekom

Thank you for coming over to mine too :). Will check our the poem ^^

Don’t hate us, but all we have are dog stories here! 🙂 a friend of mine has two cats-I will let you know if they do anything amusing. 🙂
Haha that’s ok :). We don’t hate dogs in fact we have a guest star “puppy” (if you can say so for Labradors lol) in our guest category hehe. If your friend has any photos or stories to share feel free to send them in to us 😀
Thanks for dropping by my little Montana blog. I LOVE your blog, and have reciprocated the follow. Beautiful pictures and awesome captions!

Hello there 🙂 I nominated your blog for a Liebster Award! Check it out here http://stephaniejadewong.com/2014/08/08/i-got-a-liebster-award/
Thank you very much. :). We will pass this on to someone <3
Thanks for stopping by the Fury friends post and following the blog. Actually one of the two ladies of Madame Butterfly is an animal activist, so she will be glad to hear about you.
To tell you the truth, I am setting up their blog at WordPress as a surprise for them; hence the 28 hours straight to make it before they return from their weekend trip!!!
Thanks again and wishing all the best to you & your cats.
Oh that’s very nice of you! :). Thank you for checking out our blog too.
Thank you for the follow. I love your post about the rescued Manx. All of the cats we’ve had for the past 25 years have been rescue cats. Our only cat now is 18 years old and was a rescue kitten when we got him. He refuses to go outside and has only been out twice in 18 years. The outside cat you saw in my post is our neighbor’s cat who stays at our house quite a bit.
Awwww. All of our own cats are rescue cats as well. :). And it’s good to see I’m not the only one who has a rescue cat that hates the outside world. In fact Olive rid terrified by the big world beyond the door haha
Thanks for visiting my blog – it brought me to yours, which I am now following.
Thank you so much for checking out ours too 🙂
This blog is the cutest one I have ever stumbled upon. I was having a bad day today, but your pictures definitely helped turn that around. Thanks for that. =)
Awwww thank you so much for your kind words :). And we are really happy to have you around ^^
One thing my dash was definitely lacking… CATS!
Thanks so much for the follow, loved checking this out and looking forward to seeing more in the future!
Keep up the great work and stay wonderful xx <3
Thank you 😀

Thank you! We really liked yours too. 🙂
Glad to have you on board!
Oh dear, you are following the blog SloWord and we are confirmed non-catty people! I wonder if that’s why you are following it.
Thanks for the follow 🙂
Someone has to keep an eye on the non catty people 😉 haha
This should tell you a little more:
https://sloword.wordpress.com/2013/09/09/the-tale-of-the-cantankerous-cat/
🙂
Oh wow o.o. Not a nice present that cat left behind xD
It was very clever puss, it would seem.
Mmost of them are very clever ;). My friends cat can open windows and doors and all that without thumbs! Haha
Thank you for liking my blog Fly With The Animals <3

There you are! I realised I wasn’t getting posts from you and it seems I had lost you 🙁 but found you again and looking forward to enjoying your posts. Hurrah.
So glad you found us again. 😀 And thank you! 🙂
I read 2 of your posts and had a laugh. So cute and funny. Thanks for following my blog. I may not be writing always about funny things but hope you will visit.
I will :). And thank you so much for visiting our blog too ^^
Hi there and thanks for visiting and following my blog. Hope you don’t think I dislike cats…I don’t. I just can’t cope with seven or eight feral ones. Loved some of your posts …made me yowl 🙂
Haha. I think my love of cats may be slightly stretched with 7 of them as well ;). These two already demand sufficient amount of attention :). Thanks for checking out my blog too ^^
Hello, Mark,
Thank you for liking “Baby Buddy” on lifehelps. Given that it’s another cat story, sad to say, another one about one who was dumped, you might like “Priscilla’s Story” on lifehelps as well. She is my cat.
I enjoyed reading the story about the overweight cat on your home page: Cute! Nothing like a baby brother to get the big boy in shape!
Hannah
Hi Hannah,
Thank you so much for checking out or blog too. :). I’ll go check out your other story later ^^
Hope you’ll enjoy our stories!
Marc
Thank you. I’ll be back to read more. Hannah

My pleasure and thank you

Elouise, for Smudge
Thank you so much for checking out my blog too. 🙂 and glad you like it here!
Hi, thanks for liking my post, Tucker. I love all animals, but, have a special affinity for kitties.
You are most welcome. :). And thanks for checking out my blog ^^
It is nice to see and read about a lighthearted subject. I love animals and feel they are the best medicine for our weary souls. I am more of a dog person but I love all animals and will enjoy your site. Thank you for visit to Peaks and Valleys.
You are welcome :). And thank you for checking out our blog too ^^
Thanks for checking out my blog! Yours brings a smile to my face! So cute!
You are most welcome 🙂 and thank you so much for checking out our blog too ^^
Lovely kitties! Thanks for liking my post!
You are most welcome! And thanks for checking out our blog 😀
Just to say thank you for checking out my blog and for the follow. We’re a very feline-friendly household. Smudge and Scamp send whisker twitches and tail waves to Nubia, Oliver, Mao and Snowball – or at least they would if they weren’t out in the back field defending hearth and home from the local mice and Other Cats.
Thank you so much for checking out our blog too and the friendly visit from the kats haha 🙂
If you ever fancy a cross blog post with us let us know ^^
Hey there Newbie Spikey!
(for your info, a Spikey is the term for folk who are part of the clan known to be followers of Uncle Spike 🙂
I wanted to catch up and say “thank you… I really appreciate your ‘follow’ as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.”
Blogging since June 2013, my aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations, opinions and lighter-hearted stuff thrown in for good measure.
I normally keep to a couple of posts a day, maybe 3-4 at weekends if I have something special to share. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.
Thanks again and hope you have a great day…
UNCLE SPIKE
Thanks Uncle Spike :). Hope you’ll enjoy our Blog too ^^
Hi, you may have it already, but since I like your blog so much, I gave you the Lovely Blog award. Grab it here http://gahlearner.wordpress.com/2014/09/28/blogging-101-dress-up-your-sidebar-ok-here-is-something-for-you/, if you like.
Thank you :). I may not be able to finish the post before my holiday but have sent myself a reminder!
thank you for following me and for liking my post.
yet, sadly, as you might have noticed, the bed in the header of my post is empty.
I am a 32 year old man and my 20 year old brother Mikki, whom I received at age 12 after “fighting” with my family to keep him after I managed to rescue him,
was given the gift of mercy due to his terminal kidney illness….damn it’s in the last four months but I am not even able to tell when this happened anymore. :'(
A piece of me went away and will never come back -imagine: I GREW UP with Mikki for most of my life; every single happy moment had to do with him-.
I would so much love to read your blog and follow advices to take care of him, but he is not here anymore.
Maybe to read about cats will help me cope with my loss that I, still, even if I am a big 1.92 meters tall man, cry out several nights a week.
Oh no 🙁
So sorry to hear. I know what you mean tho… I don’t know how I would cope with loosing either one of my two little ones.
Hopefully our fun cat stories can help you with this!
http://photos-e.ak.instagram.com/hphotos-ak-xaf1/10661206_268408770021892_197979315_n.jpg
Awwwwwwww! He sure was a super cute one.
Thanks for following my blog, looking at yours you sure have a lot to say about cats!
Thank you for checking out mine too. 🙂
Aha, it’s the sCat man again – so you liked 0032 – I thought I might be “seeing” you again although to be honest I thought I might be “seeing” you chasing me round the garden with a bit of 2 x 4 – I wasn’t sure how you’d take my smoooth pussy!!
However, I am very pleased to note that you have a sense of humour and are purr’cipient enough to know that it was all purr’fectly harmless and that you won’t be forcing me to wear purr’dah or purr’chasing a purr’gative from a purr’veyor of such items and purr’suing me in the purr’lieus where I purr’ambulate in order to force me to swallow said purr’gative in order to purr’ge my purr’fidy and thus damn me to purr’dition – or purr’haps you will allow me to ‘paws’ a moment and put it another way:
Thanks for the like – Cheers – ‘ter !!
Haha. You are most welcome. 🙂
As indeed are you Puss-in-boots – purrrrfectly welcome – assuming that is, you’re kitty litter tray trained and that you always make sure to use your scratch pad – I don’t want my blag tearing up you know.
Woof woof!
Haha. Oliver is certainly scratch pad trained. But Nubia does love to tear apart carpets with her one front paw ;(
Well that all sounds to the good – woof woof
And they call me Lucky – no testicles, no teeth, one floppy ear and one floppy tail – I ask you, is it any wonder I lost the dog house at Monte Carlo!
This is my new favorite website. I looooove cats 😀
Awwwww!!!! Thank you 😀
We are glad to have you onboard. 🙂
Thank you kindly for following my blog. 🙂
Most welcome. Thanks for checking out ours too 🙂
A pleasure. 🙂
Hi Marc-André! Thank you for following my blog. I enjoy what I see so far on your blog and look forward to more amusing and informative posts about cats. Such fascinating creatures! 🙂
You are most welcome! 🙂
And thank you so much for following us too. 😀
What a nice site! Enjoyed visiting your blog today.
Thank you 🙂
Thanks for dropping by raveburbleblog. Having recently become a servant to a Maine Coon, I’ve been rather taken aback by what a following this particular breed has. And as I’ve gotten to know my little tree-bear, tunnel-monster (another post that is on its way shortly), I sort of feel like I’m living with a feline furry bear and can see why people are so mesmerized by them. I’ve really done it now! Truly, I am smitten and in for all sorts of trouble. What have I done??!!
Maine coon are beautiful :). If you’d like to do a fuest post about your beauty on our blog. Let me know ^^
Thanks so much. I would love to do a fuest post on here. 😀
Thank you for visiting my site and liking my posts. Please visit often and watch our furry babies grow up and then go to their new homes. Have a wonderful day :-).
Will do! I love bengals :). Hope you like the adventures of my lil moggies too ^^
Hello Marc and the gang, I nominated you all for The Inspiring Blogger Award. You don’t have to do anything, just letting you know that you are appreciated 🙂
Oh wow!!! Thank you so much :D!!!!
You’re welcome! You all are super catastic 😀
😀 ty!
:)!
Thank you for your visit. You know, with Christmas right around the corner, could you find it in your heart to gift me that beautiful Tuxedo? I can gift you a few Texas squirrels, opossum and some fishing worms. I know my gift falls short, but have pity upon me. Tuxedo’s are extra special to our family. 😉
Haha! Thank you for your visit too. :). I’m afraid Oliver can’t be gifted. At least not without us coming along. He is after all royalty and demands his loyal servants to alwsys be present. ;D
Dignified! Tuxedo’s have class. 🙂
And loads of mischief. LOL 🙂
Thank you for the follow and happy holidays! I’ll look forward to reading about your furry friends! 🙂
You are welcome and thank you so much for checking out our Blog too! 😀
Thank you for seeing my posting about my dear Groucho – and for following my blog. I will be delighted to follow your blog – knowing there are cat lovers who will be interested in my two rmaining cats, Chachi and Joanie.
Thank you so much for checking out my blog too. 🙂 and if you ever fancy doing a guest post for us – let me know!
Thank you for liking my post today on my blog, How to Be a Better Human. Love you blog! Loving cats definitely makes one a better human, IMHO. 😉
Thank you for checking out my blog too 🙂
I am very happy to have come across this blog. I adore cats, although my living situation currently prevents me from finally getting one. In the meantime, I think your blog will do well in bringing cheer and knowledge through your pictures and posts. Thank you for putting this project together!
(And thank you for checking out my blog. The 500 Cats Project is a great motivator for me.)
Thank you so much for checking out our Blog 🙂 glad you are enjoying t!
And once you finally get your own cat you are more than welcome to contribute ^^
Many thanks for following my blog! Thanks for your love of cats!
Welcome and thank you for checking out my own blog. 🙂
Thank you for liking my post on small wins. I hope you all also have wins that help you through the days.
Mitsu
>^;^<
Thank you for popping over too 🙂
Thanks for the like of Feeling Safe. I enjoyed reading some of the cat stories on katzenworld. One of the few regrets on traveling is having to leave our cat Marissa behind. Now that we stay in the Cihangir neighborhood of Istanbul, there are many cats around. My daughter’s first facebook posting on arrival was a photo album of 29 pics of cats in the neighborhood. Cheers.
I can imagine what she feels like away from your own cat. My photo shots on holiday are usually full of cats too haha. And thank you for checking out my blog too. 🙂
Hello Katzenworld — thanks for the follow and all the likes. Love the kitties. When my husband and I moved to Morocco in April, we had to find a new home for our precious Merlina. We placed her well and yet it is so hard to leave them once you are that attached. We now live in a place that has lots of cats — both cared for and strays. Animals are treated very differently here and not so many are pets. I admire them all from a distance but I haven’t let my heart engage with them — too much. Wonderful to see all the happy kitties on your site. Blessings, Alia
Thank you so much for popping over to our Blog too. :). And yes i know what you mean. I am not sure if I could move somewhere where I wouldnt be able to take my little babies!
May New Year have bright new beginnings for you and safety. Thanks visit my blog.
Thank you! And thanks for visiting us too 🙂
Luv our Maine coon kitties Reggie and GiGi so this is right up our alley. Of course I am a crow lover too – much to the distress of Reggie. Thanx for stopping by my humble blog on crows and the occasional kitty thing. Robin
You are very welcom 🙂 and thanks for checking out ours too ^^. If you fancy doing a guest story about your kitties on my blog you are welcome to do so btw! 🙂
Hi there,
Why is your page called Katzenworld? Sounds like a German-English mash up. Did you just like the sound or do you have any relations to Germany?
Haha thats a good question! I’m originally from Germany and wanted something that sounded German but yet similar enough for the english speaking world to understand it. 🙂
Hi, just dropping by to say thank you for following my blog! It is very much appreciated! I’m following back, because, well…cats!! (we have 4) Can’t wait to read more…and that picture of the giant kitty…Yes!!! 🙂
Thank you ^^ and if you’d like to post a guest feature about your four let us know 😀
How very kind of you to offer! I will keep this in mind! Thank you! 🙂 =^..^=
hello there Marc-André. looks like a purr-fect kind of a blog! thanks for following pix & kardz. how cool is that.
Timmy, our resident and handsome 8-year old feline, has been with us for almost 2 years and he writes a guest post on my blog on the first Tuesday of every month. if you would like a rewrite of any of those posts as a contribution to your blog, he would be delighted to do that 🙂
for your reference, i have included the url for his first guest post from January 2013.
Thank you! 🙂 So glad you like our blog.
The link doesn’t seem to show if you could re-post it? But of course we would be very happy to include a guest feature! 😀
am actually not all that tech-savvy, so i just assumed that it could be reposted. if you prefer, it could be re-sent as a guest post, if you like. it would be a thrill to have him put in a guest appearance here. feel free to send me an email or else you can just use the feedback/comments link on my blog 🙂
thanks and keep up the great job! 🙂
Hey! Thanks for the blog follow. I’ve had cats for most of my life, though I’m currently catless. So I look forward to poking around here!
Kendra
Thank you for checking mine out too 🙂
Thanks for liking and following my Strengths Revolution blog hosting my podcast show. It is very different from my Juno’s View blog but I hope you find material of interest when you drift by it. It felt like another good personal space to reflect on the recent death of Juno and what she had given to me in her all too short life.
You are most welcome! And again sorry to hear about your loss 🙁
Thanks for visiting my blog.
You are welcome. And thanks for checking mine out too 🙂
Hi Marc-Andre, thanks for the visit. This blog is such a good idea. Lovely photos 🙂
Thank you 🙂 and thanks so much for checking out mine too ^^
Fascinating! Thank you too for visiting and following my blog! 🙂
You are most welcome.
Thanks for checking out mine too! 🙂
Thank you for visiting my blog. Although I find the presence of this many cats alarming, I must admit your blog is quite charming.
Don’t worry these cats are dog friendly 🙂 in fact in some of our tummy rub tuesday’s like today and last week you will find friendly blogroll visits of canine friends. 😀
Thanks for the follow, but just now, when I came over there, I sneezed. Maybe it’s psychosomatic, but I’m deathly allergic to these graceful varmints. It’s a drag.
Oh no! Hope you still managed to enjoy the photos tho? 🙂 and thanks for coming over ^^
Thanks for liking my blog post about not “herding cats.” I looks like you would have a lot of knowledge about that subject. ha ha I hope you and your furry friends have a great day.
Thanks for popping over to check out my blog too! 🙂
And have a great sunday 😀
I have nominated you for the Premio Dardos Award. If you are interested, you can find the information on my latest post at https://cat9984.wordpress.com.

Thank you!!! I will try and work on a post for this on the weekend. 🙂
Wonderful! I think the award is very well suited to your writing.
Awww thank you. 🙂
I won’t have time until the weekend to work on a post about it but I have added it to my to do list. 😀
It is my pleasure to meet ALL of you!
🙂 thank you
Thank you for visiting my blog. Your site is purr-fect.
Thank you for visiting mine too 🙂
You guys are awesome! Thank you for the follow. 😀

You are welcome ^^ and thank you for checking us out too. 🙂
Thank you for checking out my blog. I love your cats!
Awww thank you 🙂 and you are very welcome! If you ever fancy doing a guest post let me know!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. We are down to one cat – Sir Edmund; a.k.a Eddie. His two hobbies seem to be eating, and yelling for somebody to open the door to the back room because he is too fat to go through the cat flap.
We also have a big, floppy momma’s boy dog named Blazer. He is a pit bull-greyhound cross, which is a mating that must have come with an instruction sheet.
Awwww so the two get along well together? 🙂
Such a fun blog! Thank you for following me at Trigger’s Horse. – Fawn
Thank you for stopping by on ours too 🙂
Thank you so much for liking so many of our tasteless, gory and sinister posts 🙂
Haha! No worries. I like your humour 🙂 the only thing my cats kill are their toys tho! Haha
Thank you for the follow on 40somethingFTB and liking my reflections on losing my sweet Eliza. You have a quite a crew here! Oliver is oh-so-handsome (though perhaps he is aware of that). love the kitty-bunny alliance story, and what wonderful expressions on Angel’s face!
Thank you Sandee 🙂 and yes we have a big gang here now haha. I have Oliver and Nubia, Yuki has snowball and Mao, Lisa and angel belong together and my sister and zelda are another blogging duo! Plus all our guest bloggers 😀
What an awesome team effort! Thanks for connecting with me at Family Life Is More via Dear Maizie and YES I love cats! We have, and have had, many pets in our family yet my cats are my beloved. Currently Leon THE Fat Cat makes me laugh and smile. I really should do a blog post about him 😀
Awwww thank you Angie! You are more than welcome to contribute if you fancy doing a guest post. 🙂
Buy thank you, Marc-André! Your invitation is very sweet. When I get to Leon my fatcat blog post, i’ll be sure to at least Pingback. I hope your week is off to a great start 🙂
It was a busy day but otherwise a great start to a week haha. Hope same for you (minus the busy? unless you like it busy hehe)
Thank you for following Jacques’ Dog Blog! You have quite the international crew creating this fantastically purrrfect blog! We look forward to keeping up with your many adventures (or should it be misadventures?)! 🙂
Thank you! 😀
So glad you are liking our adventures haha.
Hi! Thank you for dropping by. I like the idea behind your blog. Why don’t you try to write a hiku for us? 😉
Ah I would love to but i suck at Haiku’s XD I usually get others to write them for my photos. 🙂
Thanks for liking my posts on PK. If I were home with him more, I’d probably write about him more often … someday, maybe. You have a great site.
Looking forward to more 😉 and thank you so much for liking our site 😀
Well, what”s not to like! I should send you some pics of my fluffy girl 🙂
Yes please 😀
I will – although I am a little confused as to where to send them
Info@katzenworld.co.uk 🙂
thank you 🙂
You are welcome. 🙂
thanks for the follow fellow cat lover – love your blog 🙂
Thank you for checking out mine too :). If you fancy a guest story we always welcome those :F
That’s very kind of you. Still figuring things out, but I’ll keep that in mind 🙂
You are welcome 🙂
Hey, thanks for the visit to my blog. I decided to stop by and have a look at yours.
That was supposed to end with at 🙂 and a nod to the cute illustrations I saw already.
Awww the anime style one or our own? :). The header and logo were drawn by my friend.
Thank you 😀
Hi, thanks so much for taking a look and following my blog. I look forward to sharing Tummy Rub Tuesday photos/stories with you. I’m very glad our paths crossed. My wife Julie and I have some very active and well photographed cats who are nice enough to let us share their living space (well, most of the time).
Thank you Karl ^^. Looking forward to your entries for TRT :). And I know what you mean about “let you share” sometimes I wonder if it is our bed or the cats bed!!! LOL
I love the international scope of your blog. Thanks for stopping by mine on the rare day my doggy blog featured a cat.
🙂 thank you for stopping by mine too! And I like doggies too ^^ one of my sisters has a Labrador who once was featured on here on a rare day my cat blog featured a dog haha!
Thanks for following my blog! How could I have missed this one? I am a HUGE cat lover, and own one to boot!
Thank you for checking out mine too. :). Any time you’d like to guest post about your kitty let us know. ^^
Thanks! Elijah Moon is very proud to be so popular. He has another offer, too.
He said, while he was cleaning his nether regions, that he’d think about it. He’s so rude. Check out my piece(s) on the Comfortable Clowder – I wrote them fora friend of mine who has four cats.
I will check it out. 😀
Glad to have found your blog, and thanks for following mine, even though I’m more of a dog person ;-)… You may also enjoy this recent post on my business blog: http://www.cognitocommunication.com/how-cats-won-the-internet/
Haha thanks for coming over to ours too! 🙂 And i do like dogs as well. in fact we had a little guest post for the “pupp” of one of my sisters here: https://katzenworld.co.uk/2014/06/12/when-cats-talk-about-dogs-oliver-guest-star-fee-the-dog-o/
Loved your article btw 🙂
I am nominating you for Creative Blogger Award. You do not have to accept it if you do not wish. You have a wonderful blog and have been wonderfully supportive of The Daily Scrap. I am currently working on the Award post, so the award image will be available soon.
Thank you 😀 I’ll have to make a few of those award posts this next weekend! ^^
I’ve nominated this blog for the Real Neat Blog and Premio Dardos awards. Details are on my post “2 More Awards” (2/24) on my blog: https://ddominikwicklesromance.wordpress.com/. Keep up the good work!

Glad you liked the poem “Cat at the Door.” I guess you can relate. I’ll be sharing your blog with other cat lovers.
Awww thank you Judith :). And if you or friends fancy doing a guest story – do let me know ^^ and yes I loved the poem 😀
Thanks for taking the time to check out “The Cow Docs”. I’d have to say I’ve never quite seen so much about cats in one place, but it looks like you have a good time with it.
thank you for checking out our Blog too 🙂 and haha yeah this is why I called it cats world 😀
thanks for stopping by. love your cats.
Awwww thank you 🙂
Thanks so much for visiting my site! I can see that you also have a lot of experience with big cat personalities!
Haha yeah! 🙂 thank you for visiting us too ^^ and if you ever fancy doing a guest story we post those every Saturday 🙂
Thanks for the invite! Would love to do a guest story but since I’m a novice not sure as to the mechanics! Especially loved your post on “How to be a Cat” as only cat lovers truly understand why we endure the madness 🙂
Haha glad you liked that one 🙂 and guest posts could really just be a story of your cat with photos. Like how you met or a day in th life of… Something like that 😀 so whenever you feel ready – you know where to find us ^^
I can do a quest post whenever it is convenient. With 4 cats I have plenty of material! Thanks again!
When you have one ready just drop me an email to marc@katzenworld.co.uk with the story and photos. 🙂
Thank you for being follower of my blog. You gave me an idea concerning cats and in the short future I’ll try to implement. Thanks once more.
Haha you are most welcome ;). Hope you’ll enjoy our cats. 🙂
G’day Mark-Andre.
I just popped in to thank you for your visit and follow, both very much appreciated, now if you’ll excuse me for a while I’m going to tip toe through your pages to check out your four legged friends, to see if they are as cute as my beautiful Butterfly (because of her face and ear colouring. 😉
Thank you too for the visit. :). And if you’d like to post a guest story for butterfly you are more than welcome to ^^
Thanks for the follow on my blog. My kitty Sweetie Pie thanks you too. 🙂

Thanks for the follow!
You are welcome 🙂 and thanks for checking out my blog ^^
You bet.
Loving your stuff, I adore cats. I am really missing mine as away looking after my sick mum. Cant wait to be home with them.
Hope your mum will feel better soon! And thank you 🙂
She says thank you very much and she is trying 🙂
Looking forward to it 🙂
Thanks for having a look at my blog and following/ liking it as well! As much as we love cats, keeping them is not practical when you have dogs (Panda the Border Collie is not so fussed on them either) mostly due to living on the farm. Our daughter has a cat though. Her name (the cat that is) is Maybelle and she is beautiful and friendly and has the most unusual meow.
BTW I was reading one of the other comments about the reason for the name of your blog and you mention being from Germany originally. To be quite honest, I looked at the name and my brain automatically split the word up into Cat Zen World!
LOL. I never thought about that it transfers to cat zen world. I suppose the meaning still works hehe 🙂 glad you enjoy the blog and do let your daughter know that I feature guest stories if she’d like to post about her cat ^^
Thank you for following, I returned the follow and will check out your blog soon.
Thank you 🙂 hope you’ll enjoy our cat adventures! ^^
I agree with Mrs D ~ I translated for want of a better term, into Cat Zen World too!
Haha 🙂 I like it!
My thanks to Marc-André & the team for following my blog. I must warn you that it does not always feature cats, but I do love moggies (and have one of my own, still semi-feral after all these years), so they sneak in from time to time. Phyllis, my Tuesday walking companion, & her husband have just acquired two new kittens, so cats are definitely in our minds & hearts.
Awww thanks for following us too 🙂 and if you fancy entering your moggie for a guest story at any point do let us know ^^
love the blog and all the adorable katzen!
Thank you 😀
Very interesting blog you have. Thanks Marc for the follow and like. One of my blogger friend, Nia, is also crazy about cats and keeps posting about them, will send you the link in my next interaction with you. Happy Sunday Marc and team and the cats. 😉
Thank you 😀
All the best to their Meoowjesties!
(Though our cat Miao-Tse-Toung is probably a communist!)
🙂
Haha. Nothing wrong with being different I always say 🙂 I have a T-Shirt hat says Miao-Tae-Toung haha XD
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and great to come across some fellow cat lovers! I too have a truly splendid cat which should perhaps start to feature more highly on my blog!
Awww thank you for stopping by on our Blog too! 🙂 And if you fancy doing a guest story for ours at any time just let me know 😀
Looking forward to more ^^
Naturally I love that you have a blog dedicated to cats, my wife and I love them too and in fact have 3 cats instead of children!…much easier (thanks for following my blog, there are plenty more kittie pics to come. Am in the process of putting a book together of city cats)
Oh! Let me know when your book is ready. And if you fancy doing a guest post happy to feature a story of your kitties. 🙂 we also run a weekly photo share on Tuesday’s 😀
Oh My…..what a wonderful blog…..delightful.
Love, love, love your site! You need to meet Molly. Going to tweet you a video.
Yes please 😀 and any guest cat stories you’d like to post on our page – let us know ^^
Oh, I would love that! Molly is the social media specialist for my editing company. Video is on my blog. I couldn’t attach to tweet so I sent picture. She’s also a character in my latest book. All 6 lbs of her! She’s 15 years old and plays like a kitten. We are blessed. Your cats are so beautiful. They’re Molly’s cousins! Oh wait, I had a pic in my latest newsletter about Molly’s relatives coming to visit. They’re weren’t cats. I’ll tweet pic. As you can probably tell I’m a little older so technology in communication is sketchy. Publishing books…no sweat!
Oh! Drop me an email not the links – marc@katzenworld.co.uk 🙂 and maybe we can post about it 😀
Thank you very much for following my blog! I love your cats (and their names!) and I’m looking forward to reading more about them.
I just found this … sorry for the delay!! Thanks for stopping by “It Is What It Is” and the follow. I hope you enjoy your visits there!! Peace …..
Thanks for the follow! Very much appreciated! And who could not ‘follow’ a site about cats. Very cool!
Thank you 🙂 glad you came to visit us too ^^
Hey Marc, “Nice site”. As a beginner in blogging and writing I’ll be muddling my way through this for a while. My purpose in my blog is to post my cats, that’s Max, his adventures as he has described them to me. He always manages to get into trouble and frankly some of his stories are a bit over the top. I hope you’ll stay tuned and comment as I muddle through it. Thanks Tim Hammill…
Thanks for checking out my blog too Tim 🙂
I like the name, “Katzenworld”; I’m studying German! 😉
Haha 😀 I’m originally from Germany and wanted something German that still kinda makes sense in English 🙂
Love it! ^_^ schönes Abend!
Danke! Dir auch 🙂
That’s cool…
🙂 thank you
A blog after my own heart! Endless photos of fuzzies, what is there not to love?!? 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog, btw, and also for the like!
Awww thank you 😀
Marc-André,
Thank you for following our blog. I hope the tales of our travel, work and play will keep you amused. We travel with two fur babies – Cody, our 11 year old Golden Retriever, and MeiLing, our 3 year old Chinese Crested. Our third pet, Patches – our Calico, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge a couple of months ago.
So sorry to hear about Patches! But glad you followed us too. 🙂
Hi Marc: Kit Kat and I love your site.
Awwww thank you 🙂
Thank you for the like and the follow! 🙂
You are most welcome. 🙂
Thanks for following my blog, I’m quite looking forward to reading yours!
Thank you too 🙂 and hope you’ll enjoy our Blog ^^
Loving the blog, Marc! Thanks for stopping by mine 🙂 You guys have any tips on wooing stray kittens? I’ve already made a connection with them by offering food (they cleaned up the plates to my joy) and by basically making a spectacle of myself…
Ah I haven’t had stray kittens myself but one of my friends took in two barn kittens. How old were they when you took them in? The younger they were (obviously not too young to be away from their mum!) the easier they get used to human contact. Generally best to give them gentle strokes. Loads of playtime (teasers, feathers etc) and as you already said food! Be careful that that they don’t associate your hands with being a toy though. If they bite, clamp and scratch your hand best to stop the playtime and say a firm no / show them the hand as if you are saying stop to a child. (Sorry for the warning bit but it’s a habit that can be difficult to get rid of later on 😮 ). Let me know if you need more tips or help ^^
The kittens are no more than six weeks and are really eager to make contact. I’ll try out the tips and get back back to you about how it went. Thanks Marc! 🙂
No problem. 🙂 let me know. ^^
And of course thank you for following us. 😀
Thank you for liking my blog The Meow Factor. Of course, I follow you back. My cat, btw, is called Murrli Katzenberger.
Since when have you been writing this blog? 🙂
Hey! Thanks so much for following ours too. :). I have been writing this blog since early last year. ^^ we feature guest stories every Saturday btw.
Katzenworld is a lovely name. 🙂 Guest stories sound fun. I liked you fb page, too.
Thank You 😀

Thank you for the follow. You earned me a new trophy as my 200th follower on a blog that I set up for personal musings, with no ambition to be followed! That has made my day.
I may even post more cat poetry!
Haha! Thank you 🙂
We run a weekly Poetry section called Purrsday Poetry and we would love to feature any of your cay poetry. 😉
Has to be this one then. https://donalclancy.wordpress.com/2014/10/11/cat/
Thanks for the follow 🙂
Great blog, yours… keeps me smiling all the time I’m reading 🙂
Awww thanks 🙂
You do know your cats.
I adore cats. I don’t think I’ve met a single kitty I didn’t like–even the skitzo ones. 😀
Hi All! Cool site. I love how you collaborate to do one blog about many kitties!
I have two…Marley and Carley.
Thanks for following my blog. I have photos of my kitties but not sure on which posts.
Suzanne
Mid-MO, USA
Thank you 😀 if you ever fancy submitting a guest story about them let us know 🙂 info@katzenworld.co.uk
Cool. Will do. They are cuties! Carley is a polydactyl. She’s a little cat with white catchers mits for paws. Marley is a big majestic tuxedo kitty with smaller paws than his sister.
Will share your site with my sons as they love cats and their antics.
Thank you 😀
thank for the follow!
Most welcome ^^
I thought I should say that I’m back to blogging again, and I have nominated you for the Infinity Dreams award over at http://www.skyesaves.wordpress.com
I took a bit of a hiatus and now I’m back! Btw I love your blog so much!!x
Woohoo thank you :). And please feel free to submit guest cat stories if you have any 😀
Hey Marc- Andre’ Would that also include fiction. I am Tim Hammill and am close too launching my book “Tails from the Park” on Amazon. Could I submit either short stories or excerpts form in on your site for your followers. Max would like that (he’s the main character, you know.) Thanks Tim…. Date: Wed, 24 Jun 2015 12:50:59 +0000 To: timhammill1@hotmail.com
Hey Tim, we could certainly do that 😀 drop me an email marc@katzenworld.co.uk and we can discuss the details
Recently, I know this isn’t cat related, but I took a trip to Brighton and went to the Hove dog cafe. Our dog was overjoyed when he found he could play in the grass carpeted cafe! Very fun!
What a dog cafe!!! I had no idea and we have been to Brighton a few times 😮
Its in Hove so you might have missed it, and we had to have a look on the internet to find it! Here is their Facebook page! Its called chubby chops, and the dogs just charge around, playing with the toys! So much fun!! https://www.facebook.com/chubbychopsbrighton
Its making me think how much fun a cat cafe would be! I think I’d like that even more!!!!
Hehe yeah they are a lot of fun. And more and more cities are having cat cafes. My sister told me yesterday that my home town in Germany is getting a cat cafe at last
Wow Thats great news!! Next week I’m going to Paris, so will look for animal themed cafes there! I’m excited for the day Leeds gets one!!
Paris has a cat cafe 🙂 you’ll have to take photos for us if you go ^^
Ooooohhh I soo want to find that!! I will!!
http://www.lecafedeschats.fr eh voila 🙂
Thanks! I consulted with my mates but one of them’s allergic to cats. 🙁 I’m going with a small group of friends and we have to go places all together because we have NO internal sat nav!! Maybe another time, eh… Thank You anyway!
Oh. Usually people that are allergic to cats love cat cafes as it means they can leave once it starts affecting them :o. At least so one of my best friends says who is allergic and addicted to the London cafe haha
I’ll speak to him again, and maybe possibly work something out so we can go!! Wow I always thought that people with an allergy like that couldn’t go anywhere near their allergy if it’s really bad! I have learnt something new!!!
Hah no problem 🙂 my friend just pops in an antihistamine tablet before we go ^^
To be honest, we only have about 5 days there and most of my friends aren’t particularly into cats except me and Tasha so we will probably be doing Eiffel tower, Seine, sights to be honest sadly. Maybe next time…
Ah. Totally understand. And there is always a next time. 🙂
yep :0
THank you for joining my blog, I am looking forward to reading your blog as well.:)
Thank you too ^^
Thanks for the like Marc-Andre. This is a good site for a first time cat owner like me. Useful information from seasoned cat owners is always welcome to me. The Katzenworld blog will make fun reading!
You are most welcome. 🙂
Cats always brings a smile..congrats on the blog posts…happy readings..

Thank you 😀 and if your rulers fancy a guest story at any point please do let us know. ^^
They’ve been itching to get onto the interwebs 🙂
Looking forward to reading more about them 🙂
I love anything that has to do with cats, so I really, really enjoy the tidbits on your blog. Especially, on Japan – I stayed in Tokyo for a month, but didn’t know that cat cafes ever existed (I was so disappointed). I’m hoping to live in Japan someday, and next time, see one for myself.
By the way, thanks for following my blog!(:
Oh! You’ll love today’s post 🙂 it’s another look at one of my favourite cat cafes hehe. We travel quite often to Japan as my partner used to work as English teacher there.
Nice meeting you! Thank you for the follow… and is a real pleasure to get to know you & your feline friends. I guess we’re very similar…
Please meet my family too:

Have a great weekend!
Thank you 😀
Thanks for following my blog. I have returned the favor.

Love cats so I’m excited to check out your great-looking blog. And thanks for following mine!
Awww thank you 🙂
HI thank you for finding my blog and liking my post and for following me
Thank you too 🙂
Thank you for 1. Liking and 2. For the follow! I like your blog, you folks have a good thing here and I hope I can get you an image or two to share. Cats. One that poses.
Stage name “Hypnos” the polydactyl cat.
Thank you 😀 and if you’d like to write a complete guest story let us know. 🙂
How many words? What is the deadline? Do you want specific as cats only or can they be anthromorphic? (Like Wile E. Coyote) Gives rise to the idea of an exclamation. “Holy Cats!”
No deadline. we generally have a bit of a back log 😮 it does have to be cat related so about cats or cat character. Or cat poetry and cat art hehe 🙂
You got it, in development now (that is to say, daydreaming about it.) Will keep it under 5,000 words for the first draft.
Looking forward to your story 🙂
I am looking forward to checking out this feline focused blog!
One more thing; thanks for visiting my blog and for liking and following it!
Thank you 🙂
Hello 😀 I’ve nominated you and all those kitties for the lovely blog award xx
https://woaob.wordpress.com/2015/08/06/one-lovely-blog-award/
Awww thank you <3
Hello to you, Marc-André. You “liked” my comment today at Celi’s Ktichengarden, so I hopped over to your blog / site. I love it. Cats, oh my. So nice and lovely photos. I once had two of them (males). The one I lost as 5 yo due to diabetes – I never knew where he got it from. But as a fact he felt a bit jealousy when I brought home my second one – a little vivacious and cuddly one, very self-confident. This maybe frightened the other one. I tried to give him all my love, but he had no chance: the second one alsways won. Nevertheless they loved each other very much, sleeping side by side and the elder one let the younger suck on his belly. So lovely. I lived with the second one 14 years. A beautiful time. He became my best friend then…
Wish you all the best, Marc-André. Have a great time. Many regards from Central Europe (i.e. Munich) to the British Isles. Enjoy your cats! Purr…
PS – How come that your blog is named “Katzen”-World and not “Cat”-World?
Thank you irmi! If you ever fancy doing a guest story for us you are more than welcome. 🙂 as for the name… I’m originally from Germany and moved to the UK for work in 2007 hehe 😮
So you knew – because of my name – that I’m from Germany, didn’t you? That’s maybe why you “liked” my comment at Celi’s? Seems that you’re doing well over there in London :-). – Good luck furthermore, viel Glück und gute Nacht!
Danke 🙂 and yeah though I do miss German BREAD. The white bread here doesn’t cut it haha 😉
Haha, same thing my brother said when he once was in France. But you can learn how to make good surdough bread from Celi’s blog. To be honest: I myself did not try yet (don’t need it, can buy it here) – but why not give it a go and make your own . 😉 Nite to your cats, too!
Haha I do some backing 🙂 work would love it if I brought in German cheese cake every day. 😉 and the kitties are saying thank you 😀
And good night ^^
I love this blog 🙂
Hello, thanks for the follow.
Internet is full of cats.
But every time I meet a catlover, I get excited all over again.
Because. Cats.
You guys are totally awesome for sharing your cat-love with the world.
Thank you 😀 glad you enjoy our blog. ^^
A great blog by great people!
Thank you 🙂
🙂
I know we’re writing about dogs (but we love cats too!) so will enjoy reading all about them. Great to be passionate about animals; they’re the best!
Thank you 🙂
Thank you for following my blog. I share your passion for cats and my beloved Dexter just passed. I love your blog and will follow you as well, once I am ready to enjoy the cat photos without feeling profound sadness.
Oh! I’m so sorry to hear about Dexter. When you are ready please join us! <3
Hi, was just stopping by to say thanks for following my blog. I really appreciate it! What I appreciate less is finding yet another adorable time-suck… Stop showing me such adorable cat things! My willpower is sketchy at best…
Stuff it, I’m following back.
🙂
Thanks for following my blog which lead me to your interesting blog. Such a fabulous blog you’ve got. I love animals in general and cats they are cute and cuddly. I’m really enjoying the visit.
Thanks Again 😉
You are very welcome 🙂 and glad you are enjoying our blog. ^^
Hello. Thank you for the like and for following my blog. You have an interesting niche blog here. I don’t have a cat but I used to have a daschund, Lady, who wouldn’t tolerate cats. Sadly, she crossed the rainbow bridge last August, and I miss her tons! Here’s to a purrfect day for all of you. Cheers, Margie
Thank you 🙂 and sorry to hear you lost Lady 🙁
Thanks for the like & the follow! (Although I hardly ever update that blog. ^o^;) Love all the kitty goodness you’ve gathered here! =^.^=
Thank you 😀 and is there a blog you update more frequently? 🙂
How did I miss your blog is beyond me because this is my kind of blog…cats! I haven’t explored your site yet but I’m sure I will love everything about it. Thanks for liking my page and following me so that I can find yours and follow you. I guess that’s one way of finding your favorite blogs :).

I’m certain I will.
Hi,

Thank you <3
Thank you for liking “Bathsheba.” I hope you consider sponsoring the poem at the Tupelo Press 30/30 poetry fundraiser at https://tupelopress.wordpress.com/3030-project/. Every little bit helps! Thank you for your time and attention! 🙂
Thanks for following My Little Farm in Town. I don’t think I will be blogging much about cats in the near future, but you might pick up some good recipes for rubs for your next barbecue! Take Care, Begonia
I love making barbecues so that sounds perfect haha
Thank You For Following My Blog. Regards Lucas
You are welcome! And thanks for returning the favour. 🙂
😉
Thank you for liking and following my blog. I have two tortoiseshell cats, Tortie and Candace. I look forward to reading more about you and your friend’s cats.
Thank you and do send us stories if you’d like to. 🙂
Thanks for the follow on my travel blog. It led me to yours, which is amazing.
You are welcome :). I love travelling. Hope you’ll enjoy our Katz 😀
I know I will.
Thank you ^^
Thank you for the like and follow! Lovely site, keep it up!
Thank-you so much for visiting my blog and for the follow. I love your blog! I am an ex cat owner. I had three cats who all lived to a grand old age. I don’t have any animals now – both my younger daughter and I have developed an allergy to pet hair!
Oh no! Allergies are evil. My best friend got a Russian blue as while her husband is highly allergic to cats apparently the hair of the Russian blue is different so he doesn’t react to her at all. 🙂
Interesting! I will keep that in mind! 🙂
🙂 you are welcome.
You have a house of happy cats, I will stop back another day. I have a picture of our old cat Wideload on my site, will have to add Princess to it. Good meeting you.
Thanks ^^
Greetings from sunny Florida! Love your blog! Love kitty Cats…Cheryl
Thank you 😀 and if you ever fancy submitting a story let us know. 🙂
Thank you so much! Cheryl
so funny, this site. i’ll share it with a couple cat story tellers I know.
Thank you 😀
Thanks for following my blog http://www.danetigress.wordpress.com. I love cats too ! But as I travel alot it would be difficult for me to own one and treat it right, I wouldn’t like to leave it alone. So I love cats vicariously thru my friends who are cat owners haha, and now with your blog.
Thank you! And please do send your cat friends my way haha. They can even send in guest stories ^^
I just may have died and gone to cat heaven, or onto my sixth life. :0) A CAT BLOG, I’ll be here for the rest of the weekend. 🙂
Thank you 😀 and if you have cats of your own please do send in photos. 🙂
Oh I have stories about my furry baby of 10 years. 🙂
Oh yes those would be perfect ^^
I have nominated you for the Sunshine award because I just want to let you know how much I enjoyed your posts and deep appreciation that you have been my regular reader. You are in no obligation to accept or repost the award, however if you do, I would love you to let me know so I can return to read your answers!

Awww thank you!!! 🙂
You’re most welcome!! Have a great weekend!
You too 🙂
I love this, I happen to love cats so this blog is wonderful,
Thank you 🙂 and if you ever fancy doing a guest post do let me know.
I try to write one story each week about my cats, that’s actually easier than trying to get good photos of them. Will they pose for the camera? Of course not, so typical of my cats.
It’s all about hiding with your camera 😉
Hi there! Just dropping by to say thanks for following my blog and keep up the good work!
Thank you 🙂

😀
Thank you for being the first one to ‘like’ my blog Families and other animals !!
You are welcome. 🙂
Hey! I have a little dog, my dear Pufi, but I love cats too. My grandparents have one and I adore her. Nice blog 🙂
Thank you for stopping by 🙂
Thanks for following my blog. 🙂 I still miss my two cats (Hobson and McRae) so I’ll certainly be checking in to get a kitty fix! Incidentally, McRae was the spitting image of Oliver – black (and white) cats are the best (imo)!
Thank you Haylee! And sorry to hear your two are no longer with you. <3 always welcome to take guest posts as well if you ever fancy writing one. 🙂
Thank you for the follow. Your blog is so cool. PURRfect and FunCatstic!
Awww thank you 😀 glad you checked ours out too. ^^
Cool Blog! Though I’m a long time cat lover, I am currently catless. My last cat, Pandora, died in October. May she rest in peace. https://gringosuelto.wordpress.com/2015/10/17/may-she-rest-in-peace-goodbye-to-pandora/
And her brother, Jason Walker, died in September of 2013. https://gringosuelto.wordpress.com/2013/09/04/in-memoriam-jason-walker/
Since I’m on the cusp of doing a lot of travel, it’s not the right time for me to adopt a new kitty. And of course, I’m not sure I’m through grieving for my two lost cuties.
But I may enjoy some vicarious cat ownership via your blog.
Saludos,
Kim G
Boston, MA
Where our kitties loved the indoors and the outdoors, unless it was insanely cold.
Thank you so much for following us Kim. And if you’d like to we could always feature a memorial post in form of a guest feature on your loved ones. <3
As a cat admirer, I am in love with your blog, and ‘like’ you on Facebook. Happy New Year and best wishes to you!
Inese
Awww thank you ^^ and happy new year. 🙂
Thank you!
Great connection! A result of your recent decision to subscribe to Learning from Dogs. For which many thanks.
You are welcome. :). One of my sisters has a Labrador. So while I’m a cat person I do like dogs too. 😉
I don’t know how you found me but I’m glad you did ! You’re my 2nd cat blog that I’ve find fun and entertaining.. Maybe Buddy Foster from Foster Cats Chat purred in your ear ?
What’s funny is, I own a dog but he stalks birds just like a cat and he’s a pretty good mouser too.. He even wiggles his butt up in the air like a cat just before springing into action.. And you should see the dirty look he gives me when I stop him when he could’ve made the catch.. Maybe Stewie, my dogcat can be an honorary cat member ? And he loves belly rubs..
Thanks for following me, I’ve joined your party and happy to be entertained !
One thing that cats and dogs share is that they are clowns just being themselves ?
Haha so glad you have Come to visit us. And your dog does indeed sound more like a cat! He is most welcome to join tummy rub Tuesday’s. 😀
Thanks for the follow! I love cats! I have a Siamese/Russian Blue mix who is polydactyl.
Awww. If you’d like to contribute a guest story we would love that!! 🙂
Ooh I may just do that! 🙂
😀
Hey there, thanks a million for following my humble blog 🙂
Thank you so much for stopping by ours too. 🙂

When you visit next, I’d love if you could leave a comment – hint, hint 😉

🙂
Thanks for the follow Marc and team cat ! You’re the cat’s meow 😀 cheers
Thank you for stopping by on ours too. 🙂
Outstanding blog around a great idea.

Awww thank you ^^
Thank you for following my site.
Thanks for stopping by the Swamp. I’m afraid that other than refusing to use the cat flap if The Squire and I are in the kitchen to open the door, Sir Edmund doesn’t have any “cute quirks”. He used to be a great climber and jumper, hence the name, but he’s absolutely ancient, and usually just spends his time occupying whatever chair you want to sit in. And he talks – a lot!
Who needs quirky if you can have cute. 😉 any cat photo meets that description. 😀
And thanks for coming over ^^
Thanks for reading about our boat cat, Artemis, via Bailey Boatcat. We love your blog! Artemis also has her own Fwcebook page!
https://www.facebook.com/ketchkitten/
Thank you for stopping by 🙂 and if you’d like to send us a story of Artemis we’d be very happy to feature her on our guest star Saturday. ^^
Hi loves! Thanks for the follow! You guys rock! 🙂
You are welcome. And thank you for stopping by on our blog 🙂
What a cool catmunity >^..^<.

Hi, friends! Thanks for stopping by to like my post on the “origins” of cats, Marc-Andre. I’m glad you alerted me to your blog! It’s wonderful and beautiful. I could (and do) watch hours of cat videos, so you’ve got the right person here!
You are welcome and thank you so much for returning the favour. 🙂
If you ever fancy doing a guest post just let me know btw ^^
Thank you, Marc-Andre. Other than fascination and awe of these amazing animals, both large and small, I couldn’t be a pretender to the expertise of your featured guests in these fields. The offer is outstanding, though, and I’m honored that you made mention of it. In fact, I just got an answer from one of your guest posters to a question I almost just asked you in this reply. Amazing — “My” little feral and I send our love to you and all good cat people out there, everywhere! Thanks for your dedication!
Glad they were able to help 🙂 and I love the fact that we’re almost like a community here. ^^
Definitely a community!

Hi, Laura! I’ve been following a blog of another lovely girl living and teaching English in Japan. I’m not sure if you’re near each other, but I think you’d like her blog. Her name is Anisa and her blog is: iaccidentallyatethewholething.com – maybe you’ll make some connections. From, Randy
I’ve let Laura know about this 🙂
Thank you, Marc. I’m sorry to hear about the tragedy in the loss of life at the shelter. How sad. I hope that prayers and togetherness for those there, and those affected, can help. I appreciate your sending this on to Laura. I made a mistake, though; the corrected blog is this: http://iaccidentlyatethewholething.com and the blog writer’s name is Anisa. Thanks! Thanks for your help, and I’m so sorry about the loss.
I’ve let her know ^^
And thank you for your kind words about the disaster in Belgium. <3
Oh this is fantastic! It’s like meeting each of you individually ? what a fantastic job you guys do! I love reading the posts and everything there is about cats! Cheers!

Have a nice day!
You are welcome 🙂 and thank you for popping over to ours as well ^^
It’s wonderful over here – total cat immersion. Almost makes up for the sorry fact that my apartment does not allow pets (though surely a cat wouldn’t be considered one – would that be a legitimate argument?)
Thanks for liking our blog! We really appreciate it! Your blog is really cool and funny! We like reading it!

Awww he such a cute cat. If you’d like to write a guest post on him at some point you’d be most welcome. 🙂
Thanks! He is not an easy cat to handle, probably due to his difficult start in life. I’ll follow your blog for a while and see what I can come up with, there’s enough to tell about Joseph!
Please do. 🙂
And it’s so sad when animals had a hard time. But I’m sure he appreciated having found you!

Art enabler. I love that.
I am currently catless but I love vicariously through a neighbor Maine Coon named Moosh. If I’m ever able to catify again, there will definitely be a Maine Coon in the bunch. I like my cats like I like my men–big, gentle, and squeezable. Purrrrrrrrrrr.
Haha 🙂
Well if you ever fancy doing a cat themed guest post of some kind you’d be very welcome even with the neighbour cat. ^^
You’re on!
My dream is to live near a place like the one below so I could visit regularly and get buried in kitties. Runner up: bunnies.
😮 hehe

Hello, I am looking for an artist to paint or sketch a small portrait of a dearly beloved cat who just passed from cancer. His name was Meatball – a rescue that was loving and protective of a disabled and blind little dog named Bean. They were inseparable. I am on disability and don’t have a lot of money but I would like to do something to commemorate Meatball’s life for his Mom.
Hi Caroline. Thanks so much for your inquire and so sorry about your beloved cat. I’ve tagged @parkeca Carol who is in charge of our Friday art cat section.
She has done a lovely painting of my two kitties as well. 🙂
Hello, Caroline
Send me a message at my email attackcatstudio@gmail.com. We can talk about the possibility of having a portrait done of Meatball.
Thanks!
I am going to have to introduce my sister and my son to this blog. They are both crazy about cats! I have been having fun looking through the posts :).
Please do 😀
And we always welcome guest stories. 🙂
Most of my cat stories would be ones from my childhood. I grew up in a small town and I think my folks felt bad we were not in the country. We always had cats and once the folks thought we should experience kittens so they let the female have a batch before having her spayed. Made for lots of entertainment.
I love kitten 🙂
I always wonder if our neutered cat would be a good mother… she has this habit of collecting her toys which makes them look like her babies haha
She probably would have been a great mom! Maybe she could take in some weaned foster kittens :).
That might be an idea! 😮
The only danger is that we may not part with the foster kitten LOL
I totally get that!
Thank you very much for following my blog. From time to time a cat might also play the main role in my posts 😉
I shall keep an eye out 😀
And you’d be always welcome to do a guest story on here. 🙂

Oh my goodness. What a site. You guys love cats. I love cats. Therefore, I am in love with Katzenworld. Samantha (my floofy rotund kitty) is drooling over all the eye candy here. She send her love. And she would also like to know if you got any available feline chaps over there needing a Texas meow pal…
She’ll be awaiting a response…
Cheers,
puppydoc (I know, I know…I’m called a puppy…but I promise I’m a gentle one. Cats like me…)
Awww thank you. ^^
I’ve not been to Texas in a very long time! We have a couple of friends blogging from the US but I don’t think we’ve got Texas covered at the moment. 😮
If you and your little kitty fancy doing guest posts I could set you up with an account. 😀
Aww thanks but I think puppydoc’s got her hands full…and while samantha would love the idea…she’s not too savvy with her computer skills, you know what I mean? Something about it being hard to type with paws….I dunno…. 😀
In any case, we’re both looking forward to exploring Katzenworld more! Take care! 🙂
Haha yes my two are not that great with their paws and typing either lol. And thank you. 😀

It’s wonderful to meet another UK blogger, and makes my world a little less empty, as I am mainly read in the US and Canada. Hope to be visiting you all a lot from now on. I am on Blogger rather than WordPress though I do have an account there. Have a lovely week.

I would love a page on here for people to post pics of their kitties, a worldwide feline roll call. Purrrr.
We kind of do that with tummy rub Tuesday. People can send in their pics and we link through to their own blog / social media.
Also… we are working on a website migration which will have a bigger focus on our forum which contains a photo sharing section 🙂 currently you can find it at forum.katzenworld.uk

Thanks for stopping by my blog Marc-André. I was just returning the favor. And I’m so glad I did. I’m moewing with delight at so many interesting blogposts to read. I like cats obviously but I also appreciated the team work here. You got my follow. Paws to you all. -Dominique (by the way, I noticed your French name. Do you speak French? J’étais simplement curieuse puisque le français est ma langue maternelle.)
Hi Dominique! Thanks so much for returning the favour. 🙂
And if you ever fancy contributing something you’d be most welcome! We are all about collaborating and uniting the cat world. 😀
As for french.. only a little school french haha xD. I’m from Germany originally and my mum just like the sound of a French name. 😉
Thanks for the offer. If I think of a topic that might be good for your readers I will do it. I was actually working on a funny blogpost related to cats for my own blog. Do you reblog blogposts or publish only original content? By the way, your mum has good taste!
We prefer content that first gets published here but as long as it’s in your author profile that’s used here there is no problem with the same content being posted on both blogs. 🙂
Thanks. Good to know. Have a lovely week ahead. ?
Thank you :-). And let us know when you’ve got something you’d like to share. 😀
I will. Thanks for the offer. ?
I am the crazy cat lady that live on the Island of Malta. I am doing TNR for my neighbourhood cats. Wake up everyday at 3.30am to feed several cat colonies around my town.
I have also been a volunteer in a cat sanctuary for over 11 years now and it’s called Tomasina Cat Sanctuary.
You’d be most welcome to write about the work you do with cats 🙂
This page is cute! XD
I never thought cats are cute, but this website might change my view about cats XD
Awe! Thank you so much 🙂
Haha! Glad we’ve been able to show you how cute they are. 😉
Great blog!!! I love all your cute cats and wonderful stories!! We’re looking for some bloggers to promote our products, would you like to review our cat tree in your blog?
Hi Bonnie, drop us an email to info@katzenworld.co.uk with photos and details

Hello, I am Frances. I am from South Wales but thanks to my husband I now live in New South Wales, Australia. I have five beautiful cats in my home…..Pixie, a black and white tuxedo-marked siamese; Milllie, a little blue burmese who is 20 years old and still fit as a fiddle (fingers crossed); 5 year old Book who is a smallish Norwegian Forest cross and slightly younger sibling Tinkerbell who is a large Norwegian Forest cross and Patch, a beautiful, around 11 year old, large calico who unfortunately has what has been diagnosed as feline leukaemia but is still fit and happy. We unfortunately lost our tiny Wedgie, Riften, a few weeks ago to a flea infestation of which I was not aware. My daughter and I are absolutely heartbroken over her loss and I am carrying major guilt over it. On a happier note I love all my cats dearly and they are very spoilt. They are not allowed outdoors sadly because firstly I dont want to lose them (we have horrid paralysis ticks here) and ,secondly, I dont want them to decimate the wildlife. . .
Im so sorry to hear about your troubles. ?
But thank you for following us!
What happened to Freya and the other cat in your clan,Marc?
