We found this amazing and heart warming story the other day and just had to share it with you all.
What happened after this cat met a Golden Retriever stole the heart of the online community! And it is a brilliant proof of how cats and dogs don’t have to be enemies 😉
Ichimi the kitten was rejected by her own mother. Lost and alone, Ichimi had a slim chance of survival on her own. Luckily, the orphaned kitten was rescued into a loving family.
Ichimi’s new family has fostered many homeless kittens, so Ichimi’s arrival at their home was accepted by all of the other pets in the family. But the moment Ponzu the Golden Retriever saw Ichimi, he instantly fell in love and started caring for her.
Naturally nurturing, Ponzu has fostered little kittens and seems to have a soft spot for the little needy ones. After losing his previous foster kitten to a new forever home, he was heart broken, but then he found Ichimi, who was desperate to be loved. The two instantly bonded and now Ponzu is very protective of his little kitten and refuses to let her out of his sight. Ponzu and Ichimi are so bonded, that they do everything together.
And whatever they do together it is just adorable and cute!

Beautiful…and indeed our girls especially Dinnermintz is madly in love with our dog Forrest..she has been since she was our foster and then of curse we adopted her…she snuggles with him he licks her head with his giant mouth..she leaps up and head butts him…they are not enemies just send different signals 🙂 wagging tail for one is happy another not..and so the fun can start 🙂 lovely post guys 🙂 hugs Fozziemum xx

So loving and loveable. I hardly remember what a kitten that young looks like. How sweet they are together. Think about it. How can people be cruel to these sweet loving animals? I will never in my life understand that. This is about the sweetest thing I could ever start my day with. I love them. They are adorable!
