Shss,,, (whispering voice)
I want to tell you about dad’s boat but I have to be quiet because he doesn’t know I’m here. I’m trying to go fishing with him.
As you can see dad had this talk with me about me going fishing and he didn’t think it was a good idea because I don’t know how to swim.
I have been practicing walking and sitting on the side of the rails but the swimming thing I can’t do much about because I’m a cat! Purr,,,,
I’m not sure what to do now except I can play on dads boat. I was hoping to tell you about me going fishing with dad, but sometimes we can’t always have what we want and to just feel blessed of what we can do.
I guess I’ll just go back to watching flies instead of fishing but always to remember to be thankful of who and What is in your life. I’m blessed to have friends like you and a wonderful Dad who will bring fresh fish home to me and a great mom who will stay with me while dad is busy fishing.
See you here next week same spot same time or visit me on Facebook.

Thank you Carrie
I’ve seen cats swim! I bet you’d be a great fishing assistant. . You could clean the fish as dad catches them ??
Actually, its a myth that cats cannot swim as IN GENERAL: They simply CHOOSE not to do so! But you are right on the money!
Thank you Lawjic, she does love to play in the water though.
Thank you maybe I can learn to swim too.
I love Angel. She sure has a wonderful life. Its SO OBVIOUS she is loved and beloved and well cared for always. She is GORGEOUS ALWAYS!
Thank you Lawjic, Angel is very special and we love her to the moon and back! We do everything to make her life wonderful

Such a nice conversation with Dad. Let him enjoy his fishing and you and Mom can reap the rewards of his work!!
Awww thank you 🙂
🙂
Thank you
I knew a cat named Honoree who lived on a sailboat with her mom and dad (my aunt and uncle)….she wore an orange life vest in case she fell overboard (she never did) they just didn’t tell her it was really designed for a small dog. But it kept her safe.
But if you prefer to stay on dry land that’s okay too.
Enjoy the fish your dad brings home!
Thank you that is fantastic about Honoree I bet she lives a very cool life. I just read about anther cat that lives on a boat called Bailey the boat cat. But I think I’ll stay on dry land and play in the boat when it’s in the garage.
Bailey the boat cat does have a very good life vest, though I believe he is also a good swimmer. It might not be worth the investment unless Angel goes out on every fishing trip. We are indoor cats here–“Boatless in Seattle”
Greg Thank you I think you are right . I not a boat cat just a regular indoor and like to play outside kinda cat.
Good plan, let Dad do the work for you 🙂
Thank you I think you are right!
You lucky kat!?
Thank you I’m am a blessed kitty
I can tell!?
C’est la vie! Life is often not what we thought it would be. Sometimes it is so much more. 😉

Hi, Angel Eyes! You never know- you could be swimming someday just like the cat mariners of yore, but for leisure. Srsly! 😀
Now that would be a story Melinda.

My cats Mouse and Sleuth used to go offshore fishing but while they enjoyed walking around on the boat, they did not like getting out to deep water because the boat pounded on the waves. They had life jackets but did not like them. When we put their life jackets on them, they would take a step and fall over sideways. They like staying on the boat overnights but they both took turns falling in the water when they missed the boat jumping from the dock to the boat. They could swim but were scared. I rescued them though and they were happy when they dried off. Guess their memories were short because they would jump onto the boat the next time.?
Aww. . Angel loves water but haven’t taken her out on the boat yet. She is terrified of strangers but is getting better about it. Thank you for sharing your kitties boat experience . What a wonderful life they have.
Angel, we think you are mighty lucky to get to play on the boat. We wouldn’t like to fall into the water either so we think your dad is doing a good job of protecting you. Have an awesome day! Purrs and soft paw pats to you.
Thank you
Have a wonderful Caturday!
