Angel’s Eyes: My Christmas story

I’m going to tell you about my first time putting a Christmas tree up with mom and dad. I really don’t know what to expect but I’m dressed for the occasion and really, does anything else matters?

It started off with dad asking for my help to untangle the xmas lights but I had no idea where it started and where it ended. I some how got all in the middle of them and dad had to hang me by my paws and let the lights fall off of me. I know you are laughing but have you tried to untangle lights before? Anyway to continue with my story.

I’m going to fast forward to when the tree is up and the lights are on the tree and I got to help put ornaments on the tree because you don’t want to see all the mess I got into. I would rather get to the good parts when I put birds and balls and hung them on the tree.. Mom was playing Christmas music and we danced and sang while we were decorating. I purr to all the songs too.

I even played with the decorations while mom and dad were dancing with each other. Shsss… don’t tell them I did that because I’m not suppose to play with the tree.

Mom told me on Christmas a fat guy named Santa comes to visit and drops down into the fire place where I lay in front of to get warm. I guess he could come on a horse like this one, but he brings treats and toys to good kitties! purr,,,,,

Oh my gosh,,, What is this? Rudolph? Oh, it’s just me playing under the tree.. ha ha,,, “Remember you can’t climb into the trees.” mom said. Only put presents under them to give to your family. I even have a gift for dad and mom under the tree.

Well, All the decorations are up and the presents are wrapped and the stockings hung just waiting for Christmas day. I really can’t wait, I’m so excited for Santa to come that I might even sleep by the fire place to watch him come down the chimney.

Angel has a big personality with a big heart. She was born September 24, 2013 in Chicago. She is very smart and learns anything by showing her once. She has won 12 photos contest and also has done advertising for pet tags for A Pets Life. She will play with any toy and would make a great product tester for toys.

    When I see how beautiful Angel Eyes is, I catch myself reconsidering whether or not I should let my Persians (who are similarly-colored) grow out their hair, and limit trimming to that troublesome hair under their tails…!

    The last time I got the boys groomed, Andy was less than cooperative, so his groomer didn’t trim him quite as close as she did Andy’s brother Dougy. I think he actually looks cuter with the longer hair, though the teddy bear cut he and Dougy had been getting every other month was nicely done. The next session is in January, and I think I will try going with the longer look. They are Persian cats after all! The original intent of the teddy bear cuts was mat control and that little hygienic trim under the tail to control poop balls tangling in their hair or getting carried outside the litter boxes. Angel, the Mythic Bells cats, and Bebe the Japanese kitten all have longer hair, and look really good!

      Thank you Weggieboy. I brush Angel every morning at the same time because they like routine and she knows what is coming. If she isn’t in the mood I sit her in my lap and groom her and she calmed down and I will pet her a little first. But I alway play with her after so she will know that she gets play time after the brushing. I hope you will try to grow their hair out. They are so beautiful and maybe with a little help they will like it to.
