Cat With Purr-fect ‘Tache Seeks Quiet Home

Stray cat Pavlova is hoping to win over a new family with her beautiful markings and purr-fect mouse-tache!

A pretty puss is hoping her purr-fect mouse-tache will help her win over a new adopter.

Three-year-old Pavlova was a stray who was taken in by the RSPCA in January, via the team at RSPCA Middlesex North West & South Hertfordshire branch.

The branch animal welfare officer, Tracy Deamer,

said: “A family had been feeding Pavlova for a few months and even made her a wooden box shelter to sleep in when it turned cold over Christmas. They grew concerned for her welfare and she came into our care at the end of January.

“She was very timid when she arrived and it’s taking her some time to get used to us and the cattery. She is a really beautiful cat but does need a specific home with owners who have taken care of frightened cats before.

“Pavlova is very striking and has the most beautiful black and white coat, with gorgeous markings and the most incredible mouse-tache and goat-ee! We hope her beautiful face will help her bag a wonderful fur-ever home!”

Pavlova seems to like other cats but is ideally looking for a quiet, adult-only home without other pets. She’s an independent girl and would like access to outside space so she can go out and explore.

“She needs a quiet home as she is very nervous and sometimes hisses at us when we approach,” Tracy added. “We really want this gorgeous girl to get the chance she deserves and, with time, we hope she’ll grow in confidence and become a wonderful companion for someone who is happy to give her the time and space she needs.”
