The Tiny Terror Strikes Again

My key lime pie loving cat sits on my desk, his paw precariously perched upon the numbers key.

He waits, knowing his human slave will be running toward the bathroom soon.

When I return, an entire page of my document looks like this:  7777777777777777777777777777777, etc.

He watches as the inconvenient 2-legged opener-of-catfood-cans ingests coffee mixed with a Walmart nutritional supplement.  That, he won’t drink, but he loves to shred the box.

I know — what does that have to do with a key lime pie eating kitty?

Only crumbs were left after he ate half a slice of key lime pie.

He loves Stash Irish breakfast tea with honey, too.

I looked up some of the things cats have been caught eating:

  • Corn on the cob
  • Apples
  • Asparagus
  • Potato Chips
  • Cardboard
  • Tortilla’s
  • Coconut
  • Earplugs

Somehow, his choice of key lime pie doesn’t seem so strange.  As you can see, the Tiny Terror is quite content to sleep after capturing and disposing of my key lime pie:

If you’re wondering why my knee is in the way, it’s to prevent him from falling.  When I’m not at my desk, the office chair is turned toward my Tiny Terror.

That white thing below his extended leg is a pillow on my chair.

I have, in the past, received the brunt of his claws when he falls off his perch.  He can go from soundly sleeping, to clawing and screeching, in a second — and he has no problem grabbing whatever is available.

Usually, that’s my arm…or shoulder…or leg.  The 20 year old office chair is expendable, and my body parts aren’t as easily repaired.

Yes, the Tiny Terror strikes again, if it isn’t an assault against my defenseless pie, it’s my shoulder, leg, or arm,…but most of the time, he captures my heart.

The first reaction is shock. You sit there watching the travesty before you the shock of that horror recedes and you can quietly remove it. ?

My late Siamese Mosby loved raw cabbage. I left a pile of chopped cabbage on the cutting board to answer the phone. On return he was up on the counter licking the uncut head and the pile had been decimated.. This post made my day.

    Thanks. 🙂

I would imagine you were wondering if his sanity was intact. Living with cats is never dull.

Your tiny terror looks like my sully when she was little (only sully had a cute pink nose) and she liked shrimp and stealing greens off the table and and odd interest in cold baby carrots. she’d rub on the cold package.,.,
Oh yeah and she would not leave me alone if I had fruity pebbles.. she always wanted some of the milk! (I couldn’t resist I’d have to let her have a teaspoon or 2 of it.

I was laughing from the time I read “baby carrots” until the end.

If I dare to have beef stew I’d better be guarding it. The Tiny terror will eat the veggies as well.

Sully would steal corn husks off the table when we were making corn on cob… she’s play with it. Maybe that was one of her ‘toys’ when she lived in Sing Sing prison. YES my cat was incarcerated lol. We think she was a kitchen cat or at least hung out there (maybe with whoever took care of her) she was part of one of the rehab programs there. She would do some kooky stuff.
After going #2 she would literally run away from it like it was going to come after her. (never saw a cat do that) gets the zoomies I think when she NEEDS to go #2

You can read more about her here if interested
