Is Your Furry or Feathered Friend a Pet of the Pandemic?

The past few weeks have been challenging for most of us, in lots of different ways. For many, the one constant has been the reassuring presence of their pet during these unusual times.

After receiving so many comments from owners about how much their pet has helped them during the coronavirus outbreak, Agria Pet Insurance is celebrating the animals that have made the biggest positive impact. ‘Pets of the Pandemic’ shines a light on the cats, dogs, rabbits, gerbils, horses – any animals – that have helped their owners through this time.

Maybe it’s a cat that has helped a key worker wind-down after a long shift, or a dog that has helped a family to bond and enjoy their exercise times together. For those isolating alone, a having a pet for comfort has made the greatest difference, as well as those worrying about a loved one coping with the virus.

Tom Vaughan, Head of Marketing at Agria Pet Insurance, says, “Most of the Agria team are pet owners, and we have all been incredibly aware of the positive impact our own pets have had recently. Hearing the same from so many customers made us want to do something to celebrate the furry and feathered friends that make us smile and keep us going, even when times are tough. We’re hoping to share as many of these uplifting stories as possible, so we’re encouraging owners to take part and tell us how their pet has been so important.”

Whatever the story, whether it’s light-hearted or more serious, and whatever the pet, by sharing your story via Agria’s online survey you will be in with a chance of winning £100 in Amazon vouchers. You can complete the survey here: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Petsofpandemicblog
