The Friday Art Cat: “Sleepy Head”

FRIDAY ART CAT

“Sleepy Head”

Quick sketch of mine in pencil of a cat lying down, exposing its tummy which of course they only do when very secure in their surroundings… I always feel very privileged when my cats do this, that they are so happy and trusting.

Let me know what you think please?

I confess I chuckled when I saw this drawing. My current cat, a rescued feral, never stretches out like that; I think she’s not used to relaxing while she sleeps, though lately she’s been sleeping deeply enough to snore, quite loudly. My previous cat however would luxuriously stretch out on the middle of the bed and refuse to move when I pulled the blankets aside to go to bed myself. You’ve caught that mood just right. 🙂
