Pets are not only furry companions, but most owners see them as part of the family. Not to mention the mental health benefits having a pet brings. In fact, data suggest that they can lower stress, anxiety, and are even great for people suffering with depression. So, there’s no wonder why we’re a nation of pet lovers, some more than others, as revealed by the housing experts at Sellhousefast.uk who looked at the number of properties to rent that allow tenants to have pets in each London borough to see which area is the most pet welcoming.
The research was made by extracting data from Zoopla during the month on September 2019, to see how many properties (houses and flats) allow tenants to have pets.
Furthermore, Sellhousefast.uk had a look at the percentage of pets owned by UK households to see what the most popular pets of the country are in 2019, by extracting data from PFMA (Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association).
