Purrsday Poetry: My Little Guardian

Hi everyone,

Please find below the latest entry in Purrsday Poetry by THETIREDBUYER

Another recent poem I wrote! It is about my furry child Ninja whom walks around with his tail to the clouds and the most sweetest meows ever. My sweet little emotional support animal whom has been with me since he was barely three weeks old ? I don’t want you guessing what this one is about.. So here you go!

To see a tail move
Around the edges of the bed.
I sit up to see
His golden eyes looking back at me.

His soft voice
It calls to me.
Soft and pure
As he strides across the floor.

He used to be so small
Now he is triple his size.
Yet as althetic
as before.

He glides onto the bed.
Eyes fixed at me
While his voice vibrates
Calming me in ways you will never understand.

My little guardian where
light shines off his Onyx fur.
His golden pockets of dream
staring at me as he sly on over.

He rubs his head against my hand
As I reach out for him.
The vibrates strengthen with every touch
His voice rings out softly.

Startled I reach out for him
He perches himself into my touch.
Eyes gleaming with joy
As he circles into my lap
Vibrations ever so clear

My little guardian.

Ah, those tails do get us… and meows. I’ve never met a black cat I didn’t fall for, but that could be said for all felines who have crossed my path. 😉
