Friday Art Cat: Two Ragdolls

FRIDAY ART CAT

Two Ragdolls

Unison soft pastels on Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper, 9.5×12 inches.

I was blown way when I saw a photo on a ragdoll group on Facebook one day – it was of two beautiful white ragdoll boys, entwined on a cat tree, with a view of trees in the background.

I loved it because of the endless snowdrift-like white fur contrasting with the brown velour of the cat tree, but most importantly because I was not quite able to discern where one cat started and the other ended!

So I asked permission to make a pastel sketch.  Hope you like it.
