In July our family vacationed in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Mount Rushmore. While this is a bear country we also got to see some Mountain Lions! But do read on for the full details.
While visiting Bear Country. We viewed many furry tummies.
But I cannot recommend you attempt to rub any of these furry tummies like you get to do on Tummy Rub Tuesday!. Unless you don’t mind loosing a limb or your life.

Artic wolves!
We went to the wild life park in my home town and got very close to the silver wolves native to Germany… I know there was glass between us for that part but it was still creepy!

Beautiful wild life. I went out to South Dakota a couple of years ago and was enamored by the wild life out there. These photos bring those memories back.

All I can say is….BEAUTIFUL!!! I can see where the Sioux and Cheyenne tribes built much of their lore. Hope to go there someday on the way up the Continental Divide. In the words of the people of the Plains…Aho! (thank you.) cm
