Competition Time! What Have Your “Innocent” Pets Destroyed in Their Life? #WayBeyondRepair

Hi everyone,

We’ve all been there! Our beloved four-legged (or possibly three? 😉 ) friend has ended up destroying a piece of furniture while us humans were not at home…

Yes even us! Rennie looks innocent, right? Well in his time with us he has destroyed countless blankets and wracked the bottom of our sofa. Apparently, it feels nice to him to drag himself along the bottom of the sofa! I guess if we had claws it might feel nice to do so as well but one would think that he’d have enough scratch trees to use. LOL

Well because we are not alone our friends over at Wayfair are running a super cool competition! Until Friday 21st September 2018 to celebrate all of our furry friends and what they get up to—both the good and the bad you have a chance to win

Has your animal pal ever taken your furniture for a chew-toy or scratching post? We’ve been there! But it’s hard to get mad at those adorable guilty faces, right? That’s where you come in!

To enter the competition, simply head over to the Wayfair competition page and submit your own #WayBeyondRepair snap. The “lucky” winner will receive a £500 Wayfair gift card which they can use towards buying a replacement or to add something brand new to their household. They even have scratch trees such as the Amarkat one that we bought from them. 😀

here is no limit on the number of photo entries you all can submit during the promotion period. So keep the photos coming!

Wayfair has such a large selection of home furnishings that we are almost certain you’ll be able to find a replacement for what your furry pal has destroyed.

The winner will be selected at random on Friday 05 October 2018 and will be published on the Wayfair competition page.

? sounds like the Labrador of one of my friends. He (the dog) will eat anything and everything. The worst was when my friend came home from work one day only to find that between lunch break taking him for a walk and coming back he had literally eaten a whole carpet…

We have two who like to eat carpet. That’s one of the reasons why we stopped putting rugs down in the entire house. Strange thing is that we can put folded over moving blankets on the floor for them to lay on but they don’t eat those 🙂

Why would you eat what makes you a comfy bed? That’s precisely how Rennie was when he first arrived… he’d eat blankets and carpets but not the one that was folded up as a bed for him… naughty boy LOL

? ours was just a tiny little potted rose. For months we couldn’t figure out what plagued the Rose. Kept thinking it was some sort of bug as the young leaves would fray and die. One day the rose finally produced a flower bud again and that was when we caught Nubia as she literally “gently” plugged of the flower to eat it. That was the end of the Rose in our house as we decided to give it away to preserve its life…

Not destroyed, but the cats hid my husband’s car keys the other week. They are normally hung on one of the coat hooks, but he forgot and took them upstairs. Thankfully he had a spare. We found them that evening hidden under the chest of drawers in the bedroom…

Pets always make us mischief, some mild and others of greater eternity. I have a dog that ate it from the table and we realized when it fell completely. Still, it gives us unconditional love that all is forgiven.

My husband had a model of a 1929 Model A. He refused to move it from a surface the little darlings used to get up to the window. Yep, smashed 3 times, and on the 4th it was no more. The cats also provided us with our own Roswell. (Model) spaceship crashed on the floor with the alien thrown free.

? our first cat destroyed my Gundam (Japanese robot figurine) model in no time! So I know this feeling just too well. ;o

I had a daybed and ny cats pee’d on it if anyone except one certain person slept on it. Ruined the mattress. Also, got a sofa from a thrift store which my oldest kept pottying on. It must have had a smell she didn’t like.

    • Marc-AndrĂ© says:

? now if only they could talk to tell us why they do those things. LOL

Would it be “sofa smelled of dog! Arch enemy!” ?

When we got Abby she was still a kitten boy howdy she was the “kitten from hell”! She was like a tornado! She is now 18 and not moving around as much and it is so hard to watch the change in her behavior!

Of course it has to be a photo comp. I don’t have one. But for those of you that might want to hear what my beloved Sully who, other than this one time was always a good girl.

This happened in the first year (maybe 2nd) that we had her. I had a Native Headress that was a souvenir from a party I went to. (You know during YMCA the Dj may have different things usually it’s only a feather on a headband for the Native, a cops hat, and so on. Well This was a headdress with a few different color feathers. I had it up on the TOP of my bureau in which she climbed something and was able to get to the darn thing and destroyed really messed it up.

I loved her but I was so mad at her I wouldn’t even look at her for a day or few. But no matter how mad, you couldn’t for long. She’d know she did something wrong and she’d come and apologize!

    • Marc-AndrĂ© says:

? gosh I’d be mad as well until our kitties make that cute look of “but I’m your loveliest cat in the whole wide world”
