Holy Cats

Buddhists made up the majority of population in Thailand. It is no surprise then that there are many temples in Phuket. In addition to some of the more popular and famous ones, there are other temples which, although smaller in scale, are worth a visit, particularly if you are after a cultural experience and into religious architecture. Not only that, cat lovers may be in for a lovely surprise! I love the temples and the local culture but truth be told, the hope of bumping into these furry friends is the real purpose of my visit, and the Rawai Temple (Wat Sawang Arom) in Phuket did not disappoint!

Thanks. I’m not sure if they are neutered but they are taken care of and fed by volunteers.
