Ha ha, this picture made me laugh. My cat would do the foot attacks, mostly because he wanted to play at three am. Sometime’s he’d even bring a toy and I’d have to hide it under my pillow to get him to calm down.

My cat used to attack my feet all the time, but now that he’s 6, he prefers to just snuggle into the back of my knees/thighs at night as I lie on my side. He steals my body heat 🙂

Kara would get under the covers and curl up alongside you, MM would stay on top and kill anything that moved below the covers.

My cats, now 13-years-old, don’t do the foot attacks very often anymore. Back when they were younger, I would dream about needles sticking in my feet and wake up with puncture wounds from their claws!

My big fat Ted cat sleeps in the middle of my foot area AND he doesn’t budge. Once he’s planted himself there he’s there for the entire night, except for the once or twice repositioning he does to prevent bed sores. Then he’s up and at ’em at 7 am to remind me to feed him with the “bed dance”. The bed dance consists of Ted’s only real physical activity. (Trust me, I’ve tried playing with him and he’d rather eat or sleep.) The bed dance is when he walks across the top of the bed, leaps over my face, and then repeats the whole process again and again until I get up and feed him. Just so you know … I love my big fat Teddy bear and wouldn’t trade him for anything. <3

You didn’t allow space for the dog. At night the cat goes on my husband’s head and the dog goes between me and my husband. During the day the cat goes upstairs and the dog goes under the ( invisibility ) chair. We had a no animal rule for the bedroom but we would go to sleep pet free and wake up with a furry friend in our face!So we gave up!
