Nubia here! Our parents got a super fun looking box the other day! 😀
It was even more intriguing after it came out of the brown cardboard box…
Nubia: Come on daddy open it up already I wanna see what it is! 😀
Nubia: Just making sure the box is empty… Yes that’s what I am doing. 😮
Nubia: Right so why is that bowl empty and sealed away??? 🙁
Oliver: What are you doing here Nubia?
Nubia: Trying to figure out what our parents got us here. 😀
Oliver: A spaceship?
Nubia: Hmmm what good that be for us!
Oliver: Explore the galaxy?
Marc: Kids. It’s an automatic opening feeder for you two! But it’s not like the automatic cat feeder 2017 as it doesn’t chuck food out at you. 😉
Oliver & Nubia: Ah!!! Let’s try it out.
Oliver: All snacks belong to me!
Nubia: NO! They belong to me too!!! 😀
Oliver & Nubia: Well it is time to pass over to our humans for the review part of this post!
Marc: Thanks your Meowjesties! 🙂
Have you ever been in the stressful situation of ensuring that specific food only goes to the right pet? Maybe because it included a medication? Or your dog is stealing the cats food? Look no further as the solution is here the SUREFEED microchip controlled pet feeder will help you! 😉
It is really easy to setup the feeder once it comes out of the box and you added some batteries you will need to start by adding your pet(s) of choice to the feeder.
Just turn the feeder around and look at the buttons on the back
The one you want to use is the cute little middle button with the + icon. 🙂 Click it and wait until your cat enters the feeder area to be recognised. Until recognised the feeder light will flash orange before turning green. Should your pet not have a microchip don’t worry as the pack comes with an RF tag that you can attach to your pets collar instead of a microchip.
As for the other buttons the big one on the left is to open or close the feeder for adding new food bowls with of course food in them. 😀
The Fn button is a training mode program, it is recommended you do each stage of this program. Each stage adds slightly more movement to the lid of the feeder to get your little or big friend used to the movement of the lid.
The lid will stay open for a certain amount of time after each feeding, you will find a switch underneath the feeder that you can move to change the delay of the lid closure. For example in multi pet households where one pet steals the others food quickly after them leaving you may wish to shorten it. Or if you have a worried eater you may want to delay the closure.
The instruction booklet that comes with the feeder is in multiple languages and is fully illustrated to make it easy for you to set up the feeder! 🙂
Cleaning the feeder is really easy too. Both the bowls and food matts can be removed from the feeder and washed before placing them back in the feeder.
What can we say! The microchip pet feeder from SureFlap is a brilliant little invention! You own multiple cats or other pets that steal each others food? Just set up an individual microchip feeder per pet or set one for your cats and one for your dogs for example and no longer will they steal each others food! 😀
This gadget is not just a must have in a multi pet household as it will help you feed the right food to the right pet without hassle or stress but also in single pet households if you are feeding wet food! The feeder seals the food in after each snack and therefore keeping the food moist for longer. 🙂
