Just so adorable! Did Nubia and Oliver like their tree right away?

I just bought two Cat trees, thinking that my 5 felines would fight over it if there was only one…. well, I was wrong again…. Nobody is showing any interest in either tree… How can this be? Not one out of the 5 cats. I placed one by a window looking over the garden, thinking that they would be able to check out the birds and squirrels. Nada! Does that mean they will never enjoy the trees? I thought that they would appreciate my gifts, especially with the long winter ahead…
    Does anyone know?

There was the initial 5 minutes of fame… When they ignored it for DAYS and when they both wanted to have the top spot. A few weeks later they figured out who can sit where at what time of the day. 😀

You may have to entice them with some treats at first – just leave them on the top and stuff! 🙂

I did try the treats bit. They ate the treats and left…..I also used the liquid catnip and toys on the trees. There was a very mild interest for 1 nanosecond, and I do mean “mild”…. Well, I will wait and see if anything happens over the next few weeks… Isn’t amazing that cats never do what you think they will do?

    • Marc-André says:

Indeed. I bet you the second you say “well you don’t like the trees… I guess they will have to go to charity for cats in NEED. And start moving them… They will be all over them! That’s usually what happens with unwanted toys here LOL
