Guest Star: My name is Sid and I am adopted

Hi everyone,

Today’s guest post comes from Rasma and her companion Sid

My name is Sid and I am adopted. Life sure was lousy for the first three years of my life. My bad memories have all but faded. The awful people I had to live with decided I really wasn’t worth their time of day. I kept myself scarce but when I was hungry at least they gave me some food. If I got too friendly or curious I was mistreated. Hey, who knew that there were people like that out there? Then to add insult to injury they threw me out. All I remember about this time was sitting on the side of the street feeling the need to beg for food and shelter. Finally some people came and whisked me away. The next thing I knew I was being checked over by a man in a white coat but I don’t like to recall those memories. Next thing I was in an apartment with other cats and a dog or two.

One day these two people arrived and decided that they would be my mama and papa. At first I was terrified and hid in the basement of their house for about a week. Hey, you never know. I joined the family on St. Patrick’s Day March 17, 2009. At this time I was four years old and mama decided to make this date my birthday. I’m not complaining.

It has worked out great and even though mama occasionally smothers me with love I can take it. However I love it best when I can rough house with papa. I have a large garden to roam about in and I live like a prince.

I have included some of my best photos so you can get a real look at handsome me.  Love and meows to you all.

Sid you are gorgeous! And very luck to find your forever humans. Lovely photos. Artemis our boat cat says hello, and would like to be a guest cat too!

You will never be harmed again. That sadness in your eyes will disappear. Your family loves you and will make sure all of your needs are met. You have a forever home. And now, Sid, you beautiful kitty, life will get better every day. Forget about the evil ones. You have your own house and they will protect you for all of your life. You give me a reason NEVER to give up on my Kit Kat, as she will not even TELL anyone what happened to her for 3 years until I said to her: I want YOU. Let’s get out of here. And you are never going back, I promise. So next time we see you, show us your SMILE, okay baby? We all love you!!
